Mr. Pape is a very friendly host, the rooms are well maintained and the breakfast table was more than adequately set. Since I travel a lot for work, I will definitely remember this guesthouse and would be happy to come back as a guest. In this price range one of the best guesthouses I have visited recently.

Nicely located for visiting the Porta, but that's about it. Room old and uncomfortable, nothing in it, not even glasses to drink something in the evening. Contrary to the booking, there was no longer any breakfast

Very friendly guesthouse landlord, clean, tidy and functionally equipped rooms, sumptuous, lovingly prepared food, located in the center of Porta (bakery and Edeka can be reached on foot in under 5 minutes), parking lot in front of the house.

I spontaneously stayed overnight at the Pension Wesertal on the Weser cycle path. The owner, Mr. Pape, is a pleasantly friendly gentleman. The very well-kept guesthouse is strategically located and quiet. My room was a pleasant size, the bed was perfect with a firm mattress. Everything sparkling clean. The extensive breakfast was prepared individually. Plus the best coffee + the daily newspaper, which Mr. Pape got straight away. Very charming.

Very nice guesthouse, very clean, great breakfast, nice people. Unfortunately, the guest in the next room was snoring quite loudly. I would have liked thicker walls or Oropax. All in all, highly recommended. If I need accommodation in the area again, I will definitely book here again.

The pension "Wesertal" deserves 5* because it is very clean, the breakfast is extremely generous (if you don't have enough you can even get a second helping), the rooms are large enough in my opinion. (I don't know why you would need more space) Mr. Pape is a very friendly and accommodating host.We'll see each other again next year in September. Kind regards to the woman with the lighthouse 😀

Very nice little guesthouse with a really friendly owner. We felt very comfortable. Parking spaces directly at the house and restaurants within easy walking distance.Breakfast was also really great.Many thanks to the great team. We would like to come again.
