We celebrated our wedding in this great hut about a month ago and we were very satisfied. The uncomplicated arrangement made planning much easier for us, even though we are not from the area. The service and food were top and the rooms were also suitable - like in a mountain hut :)

We spent a very nice family weekend at the Grasgehrenhütte. Basti and his great team try very hard to make everyone feel comfortable. The breakfast was great - nothing was missing and the three courses in the evening were very tasty and plentiful. You feel warmly and honestly welcome at the Grasgehrenhütte - thanks to the new tenant Basti! (Unfortunately that was completely different before...) We'll definitely be back very soon and say THANK YOU to Basti and his team!! Keep it up!

The information: "classic white sausage with pretzel" on the homepage lured me there because I was craving a snack and 11:00 was also the right time of day for white sausages.What can I say - no white sausage on the menu and not when asked.Maybe time to update the information.

We were able to celebrate our wedding with Basti and his great team on June 29th, 2024. Most of the time on vacations like this there is always one: It was really nice but...That doesn't apply at all in this case, we were completely satisfied and happy.Fantastic preparation with great accessibility, always an open ear for all questions and ideas, amazing location, delicious food, super friendly and committed team.And since the weather was good... in three words:A perfect day.Many thanks to Basti and all the employees 😊

Actually, the kitchen doesn't open until eleven, but I arrived at nine after a three-hour hike and the team prepared me a great breakfast. Thank you for the service.

Last Saturday we celebrated our wedding with 51 guests at the Grasgehren mountain hut and also stayed there from Friday to Sunday.Basti was always available in advance, always had an open ear and implemented everything exactly as we imagined. He also came up with great suggestions that rounded the whole thing off.At the wedding itself, both he and his employees were a mega team:))Hardly noticeable, but always there, every wish was fulfilled immediately. The food was a dream, both at the champagne reception and the hut buffet in the evening:))The Kaiserschmarren from the cast iron pan served as dessert on the terrace - a dream...We and our guests were impressed by so much warmth and professionalism...and this at a time when there is a shortage of staff everywhere in the hospitality industry.The location in conjunction with Basti and his team is unbeatable and 100% recommended:))

I was able to photograph a wedding in June 2024 in this great location.Beautiful ambience, great view from the terrace, great service, excellent food and delicious drinks, all in all 100% recommended!Parking spaces right in front of the door, therefore easy to reach for everyone.

We celebrated our wedding at the Grasgehrenhütte ten years ago and have recently followed suit with our big birthday. The tenant has now changed - but he is not unknown to us. After all, Sebastian Engelmaier was already part of the Grasgehrenhütte service team at our wedding and has been the hut manager himself for a few years.From planning to farewell, we felt we were in good hands at all times. Basti listened to our wishes and made our party even better with his own ideas and suggestions. Shortly before the appointment, he contacted us and confirmed everything that had already been discussed and clarified the final details.The party itself was perfect in our eyes. Basti and his team were always there in the background for us and our guests. We were looked after attentively and politely at all times - whether when serving, carrying orders, or with questions. The BBQ buffet we discussed exceeded our expectations, especially the spare ribs and shrimps were incredibly tasty. The preparation in the giant cast-iron pan in front of the whole company was just as much a highlight as the legendary Grasgehren-Kaiserschmarrn as dessert - prepared in the same way 🤩.And even if the weather put a damper on the use of the terrace, the large hut room and, later on, the Q-Alpe provided a unique hut atmosphere. The team has also created delicious alternatives for pregnant guests and drivers with a variety of non-alcoholic drinks.The shared breakfast buffet the next morning provided a nice ending for the entire party. The rooms are clean and reliably prepared. Everything is rustically furnished, like a mountain hut at 1,447 (!) m, but there is more than expected.All in all, we can fully recommend the Grasgehrenhütte and the service from Basti and his team. All of our expectations were exceeded and we received a lot of positive feedback from our guests afterwards.We wish Basti and his team all the best and are already looking forward to our next visit to the Grasgehrenhütte.

We were with you for the first time today, the food was really delicious. I had the Käsespatzen and my brother had potato rosti with smoked salmon. Loved it, please keep it up. We'll be back!! The view from up there is a dream.
