The rooms, the bathroom and the toilets are dirty, completely filthy to put it bluntly. Never again. We changed the room, but it didn't help. We have seen much better hostels.

My son recently went on a school trip there. The children studied a circus program for the last day and had a lot of fun. On the last day, the children were picked up by their parents and siblings and at the end of the school trip they performed in front of their families in the circus tent on the youth hostel grounds. This ended a very eventful and beautiful week. We can definitely recommend this youth hostel with the appropriate program for primary school classes and fifth and sixth graders.

I was a cyclist in the 19th century. What was striking was that there was no way to safely park and chain your bike in the entrance area. You are only allowed to enter the bike room with staff (far too inconvenient, as they are also very busy) and according to the house rules, you are not allowed to charge batteries at all. That's the least I expect from a Bed & Bike certified house...

Rooms have no TVs and no WiFi, otherwise everything was great 👾🤒👻😼 In the room at my school there were sometimes big cats that brutally attacked them. Three children were seriously injured 😹💀🤖 the rest was true tipitopi 🎃 the food consisted of a variety of vegetables and a large one Salad buffet. You had the choice between vegan vegetarian and with meat, but there was still rarely meat.🥩The youth hostel puts sport first and ensures that no children are injuredThe surroundings with the Hinsbecker Heide were so wonderful that I would come back again and again

Last week my daughter went on a holiday camp alone for the first time. She absolutely loved it and really wants to go back next year. Many thanks again to the entire team - it was a great pleasure. From registration to pickup, everything was well planned. The shared rooms and bathrooms were all clean and well maintained. The circus show on the last day was also really great (despite the 30 degrees outside temperature).Keep it up and thank you very much

The third stay at the Nettetal-Hinsbeck youth hostel. Grandma/granddaughter (10 years old) Quality time😍 This time my niece's son was also there (11 years old). As always, we had a great stay.Friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast, a nice large room with a bathroom and separate toilet.Opposite is a beautiful, large playground and the Niederrhein climbing forest. We didn't miss anything. Always happy 🥰

Simply fantastic!!!!Fantastico, that was the name of the circus performance that we were able to watch yesterday on the day we picked up our child from the circus holiday camp. Children, the leader as a great presenter and entertainer, the carers, they all put together a demanding stage program within just a few days. In addition to the acrobatic arts, I was particularly impressed by the team spirit. All children treated each other very considerately and carefully while performing their tricks. If it didn't work, people didn't pull a long face, but carried on as if nothing had happened. Focused, mindful and with enthusiasm. That's what I call true class and to see this sense of community in general was an incredibly moving and beautiful feeling, when you often experience different behavior in society. The young supervisors accompanied everything very carefully, attentively and conscientiously, including with great class. The program was creative, fun, exciting and sporty.Regarding cleanliness: I absolutely cannot share some of the criticism I have read here. With such bad reviews in mind, we took the child there and were pleasantly surprised. A beautiful youth hostel, well-kept grounds, lots of greenery and lawns in the large outdoor area, clean, sanitary facilities in the common area as well as in the room. Everything is furnished in friendly colors, as well as a large dining room with a well-structured cutlery corner, a bistro and the adjacent reception. The registration process upon arrival was also very well organized by Nico Berger and his team. That’s when you noticed the experience. It would be desirable if people thought beforehand about what bad reviews can trigger and might mean for an event organizer before writing something bad, which I didn't see confirmed on site. But actually: the circus holiday camp is so beautiful and lovingly designed, it will certainly be recommended to others. From me and guaranteed from many satisfied other participants and their parents.
