Food was very good!

Our experience in the restaurant: Unfortunately not suitable for our Christmas partyWe ate in this restaurant yesterday because we were looking for a suitable location for the Christmas party of our company and our subsidiary. We wanted to have a test dinner to get an impression. Unfortunately, we now have to look further.We would like to positively highlight the beautiful ambience and the very friendly staff, both in the restaurant itself and when making the reservation by telephone. The team was consistently attentive and helpful.For starters we had bruschetta and baked sheep's cheese, both of which were very tasty and a successful start.Unfortunately, impressions of the main courses were mixed. I had the baked potato with chicken. The taste of the dish was good, although I found it a bit incongruous to find raw ends of spring onions in it. This is certainly a matter of taste, but I found it less appealing.My husband chose the “Schlemmerpfanne”, which was relatively expensive at €26.50, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The hollandaise sauce was cold and more like pudding in consistency when poured over the dish. When asked, the waitress confirmed that the sauce is always served that way, but offered to warm the dish again. However, since my husband had already lost his appetite due to the first impression, he declined.The fried potatoes were also disappointing: some of them were burnt black and tasted accordingly. Some darker spots might have been acceptable, but combined with the excessive greasiness it was just too much.The quality of the meat was also not convincing: the beef was “rare” but tough, the pork was overcooked and also tough, only the chicken was juicy and really well done.As we were clearing up, the waitress told us that they could have brought us a new dish, but my husband's evening was already over. As a small gesture, we got the two espressos on the house, which was nice, but unfortunately couldn't improve the overall impression.

I'm writing this review because, as a long-time restaurateur, I can sing a song about how challenging it is to run a restaurant. However, the owner of “Staage” masters this challenge with flying colors and prepares his guests really excellent food and drinks.The pizzas are an absolute highlight here! I can only recommend everyone to try out the different variants. You can't help but be amazed by the perfect combination of fresh ingredients and aromatic dough. Every bite is a taste experience that is second to none.The restaurant itself is equally welcoming, exuding a pleasant atmosphere that is ideal for spending a relaxing evening with friends. Here you can not only indulge in culinary delights, but also simply unwind and enjoy the great atmosphere.All in all, “Staage” is a great place to have fun – be it a delicious dinner or a convivial evening with a delicious drink in your hand. Absolutely recommended!

Ended up there by chance and wanted a quick meal. Ate brochetta and then a BBQ burger. Everything was great, freshly made and really worth the money. Absolutely recommended.

The food was delicious, freshly prepared and presented with great attention to detail. The ambience was inviting and cozy, perfect for a nice evening with friends or a special occasion. The service was friendly, attentive and the staff really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

We just had a nightcap here. The service was very good in the short time, but a bit stiff.
