Terrific accommodation right on the Hexensteig. Both myself and my dog were welcomed warmly, cold drinks available for purchase, referred to local restaurants, great breakfastRoom spacious, clean and very comfortable with many little touches like multiple power outlets next to the bed and space to put dirty hiking boots. Highly recommend

A sweet little guesthouse with a very warm hostess! We wanted to leave early and even though breakfast wasn't officially available until 8 a.m., a small self-service feast was provided for us. The bed was also very comfortable and the room was clean. Top accommodation!

We were welcomed late and spontaneously as "thru-hikers" in the rain in a very friendly manner. The room was very pretty and very clean. The shower was great, water comes straight away and is warm all the time. The operator is extremely friendly and there was a great breakfast for 12 euros.Value for money is great. We were very grateful to have discovered this insider tip.

This small but nice guesthouse is in a fantastic location, in the middle of green nature. Away from any hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the peace and quiet here. We were greeted personally by the very nice owner and immediately felt like we were in good hands. The en suite rooms are clean, bright, modern and furnished with great attention to detail by the friendly owner herself. The breakfast is a dream and leaves nothing to be desired. Our whole family felt as comfortable as at home. We will definitely come back and recommend this guesthouse without reservation. Thank you very much for the great weekend

My fiancée and I spent one night here before the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg hike. Despite the short stay, the guesthouse left a lasting positive impression.Although the guesthouse is somewhat remote and the access road is full of deep (!) potholes, repairs here are certainly not the responsibility of the hostess.Right from the start we received a warm and friendly welcome. You immediately felt like you were in good hands :)We also really liked the breakfast buffet, it was varied, rich and lovingly prepared. Thanks to the attentive but never intrusive hostess, the buffet is always well filled. A special tip is the fantastic scrambled eggs freshly prepared by the hostess! The room was extremely clean, modern and comfortably furnished. The bed was also super comfortable. In short, we didn't miss anything and we really enjoyed our short stay :)

The first impression is depressing. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is great and there is a family atmosphere.Unfortunately it's a bit out of the way, so you have to rely on the car or bike to run errands or something similar
