Nice rooms, friendly staff. Great connection to the train station. Very quiet monastery place. Unfortunately there was a nasty construction site around the hotel and the restaurant was closed on Sunday.

We visit here from time to time.Mostly to have a nice evening. The food is high quality and of good quality.The service is extremely courteous and knows its strengths.The price level is higher.Overall, it's pretty good. We'll be back.

Booked this hotel for a stopover on the way to Denmark. Clean, tidy and nice beds (family room for three).Short diversion due to construction work that was clearly indicated. We had a room in the annex building. In the evening we had dinner in the restaurant in the garden on the road. Due to the work, there is no traffic and you will not be affected by the railway at all!Great location for transit and if you stay longer, you can use the municipal swimming pool, literally next to the hotel. This was closed in mid-August, so check in advance!

The food was absolutely delicious, the portions are large enough and there is also a good selection for the little ones and also nuggets upon request. Even special requests are fulfilled immediately. Simply class. Vegetarians and vegans also have something on offer here. And we can only recommend the dessert. We will be back definitely.

My husband and I had dinner there for the first time last night.The restaurant and the service were really impeccable!The asparagus cream soup and the lobster crab soup were a poem.For the main course we had the rack of lamb with a herb crust. My husband was completely satisfied, but unfortunately I didn't think it was perfect. When I order something with a herb crust, I imagine a crust underneath. Now a rather gritty mass was found on the plate, which I simply pushed to the edge.The oven vegetables were tasty but a bit lacking.Instead of the gratin we opted for a baked potato, this wasn't a problem. The quark with it was very good, but since I personally don't like warmed potatoes, I'll stick with the gratin in the future.We look forward to getting to know the map further on our next visit.

Great gluteen free food. There is also a special menu for vegans. The reception was extremely friendly and as a guest you are “looked after” and not just served. We have rarely eaten so well! The rooms are all very nicely laid out. The store was very busy, but you hardly noticed. Fantastic decorations everywhere! A culinary delight from soup to dessert. The rooms are very nice and above all very clean. Just great! We'll be back!

I have to reiterate my opinion about the fantastic atmosphere and the really excellent food! We are constantly working to positively surprise and delight guests with new things. We have never been disappointed at the Hotel & Restaurant Burgdorf. The staff is always friendly. The food, from starter to dessert, is still excellent and we have always been more than satisfied. If you would like to spend a few nice hours with friends or family while enjoying very good food, you are in good hands with the Burgdorf family. There is also a wide selection of different high-quality drinks and gluten-free dishes. The next visit is already entered in the calendar, we are looking forward to it!
