Before the new season starts, we finally want our pitchesfrom last year.Here, on this pitch above Landfreuden, we were at the beginning of September 2023.We were impressed by the location and the friendliness of the owners. From the pitch you can go on great tours on foot and by bike.We are geocachers and were able to really let off steam here.We will come again.Greetings from Münster in NRW

Nice location in a peaceful Franconian landscape. However, the price-performance ratio for both the wines and the food in the restaurant does not make you want to visit again. We read on the homepage that the chef doesn't have a star. Now we know why.

We were greeted personally by the friendly staff and personally by the boss after we had booked in advance by telephone and arrived in the motorhome.Enjoyed delicious food and home-made wine. Also had very small, nice conversations with the boss.Had a very quiet night.We'd love to come back.There is currently no parking fee when eating in the restaurant or purchasing bottled wine.

This was our fourth time in Wörner's Castle and, as always, we were very impressed. The tower chamber has a great atmosphere, the menu (optional 3-7 courses, vegetarian no problem at all) with wine tasting is the highlight of the stay. Great wellness area, great chef, great host. We were even allowed to visit a vineyard and help out a little! :-)

Motorhome parking space with grass on the outskirts of the town, right next to the castle. Sufficient power connections, supply/disposal available, use on a donation basis. The toilets and showers look new and are sparkling clean.Reception with attached wine shop.The restaurant menu is clear and the food was excellent. Guaranteed to return!
