The owner runs the guesthouse herself. Ms. Beese is very friendly and concerned about the well-being of her guests. So she asks her guests when they would like to have breakfast and what they would like to drink.The rooms are well maintained and clean.Our children were allowed to explore the farm freely and were even shown a few things. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation.

I was a guest in the stork's nest from August 15th to 18th, 2019. The organization worked smoothly, the rooms were clean and the yard was very well maintained. The owner was competent and friendly. The preparation of breakfast deserves special praise: the rich selection of healthy and fresh dishes made me start the day happy and full every morning. The great price-performance ratio is more than recommended. On my next stay in the Altmark I will definitely check in at the Storchennest again.

Was the worst stay in my life.Dirty, heavily soiled, floor brokenthat you couldn't move around the entire room.Beds were dirty so you had to sleep in your own clothes,and then another €170 for 2 nightsDidn't take any photos, we were too shocked.

The following should be noted about Mario Küster's contribution: I was in the stork's nest with Mr. Küster at the same time because I had invited his partner and, in addition to my wife, 3 other people there (over Easter). I was able to get to know Mr. Küster for the first time during our visit to Altmark. The enthusiasm about this new acquaintance among the remaining friends, my wife and me, was rather less intense. According to his own statement, Mr. Küster is a hotel manager and has 600 beds under him and only one boss above him. Mr. Sexton obviously compared this guesthouse with the standard of his star hotels and feared a highly poisonous, if not fatal, harvestman who had accidentally gotten into his room. After 2 nights, Mr. Sexton and his partner left the guesthouse because they apparently had something to sort out at work. At no time was there any criticism of the other guests or the owners of the guesthouse. It is understandable that Mr. Sexton spent two terrible nights in the stork's nest, but it was in no way due to the guesthouse, but rather to other things. The headache in the morning certainly didn't come from the very good beds!! Furthermore, despite booking 3 nights, Mr. Küster only paid for two nights and the stated amount was not paid!!! It would be interesting if he would also be as accommodating to his guests. I believe that less. The rest of the group and even more of my friends are happy and regular guests of this beautiful guesthouse with such lovely hosts.

I can't agree with the previous speaker, the accommodation is very clean, the room and bathroom are spacious and tidy. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back.

Good conditions in the room and bathrooms. Nice owners. Possibility to buy breakfast with good food. Possibility to make a barbecue in a large and nice fence. I recommend.
