We had an amazing experience at this camping site. We visited in October 2024. The bathroom facilities were extremely clean and well maintained, the water was good and hot, the showering rooms were kept warm, and the site was quiet, peaceful, and tidy with amazing view of the night sky. Tap water was drinkable and the host was very accommodating and welcoming. We set up a tent so I can’t speak to the quality of the rooms.

Nicely located campsite. Along long distance hike and bike tracks. Five 4person huts in the shape of a wine barrell. Toilet building renovated, small cafe restaurant with local food. Which means primarily schnitzel and bratwurst. No veggy options, unfortunately. Friendly staff. Easy to reserve and good communicators by ail. Prices reasonable. The natural swimming pool next door is great for hot days. Canopy trail on half an hour walking and freizeitpark Geiselwind one hour by bike.

Stayed two nights at this campsite. Unfortunately we encountered a problem and the campsite owner resolved this very neatly and professionally. The pizza in the restaurant is super tasty. There is a small lake for swimming and an outdoor swimming pool within walking distance to relax. The Baumwimpfelpad, which is located right next to the campsite, is also super fun to visit. Definitely recommended, not too expensive and plenty of play areas for children. The facilities are clean, but more could be placed throughout the campsite. Overall enjoyed it :)

We had a great time here for 2 nights with our family with children aged 3 and 6.The campsite is very different, beautiful green camping pitches at the front, and at the back it looks more like a scouting camp.The playground at the back is very natural, spacious and versatile.In the area we visited the treetop park. Highly recommended! The natural swimming pool next to it is also beautiful for all ages.Advice; from Saturday afternoon, the first cleaning of the sanitary facilities took place on Monday morning. It was dirty and the trash cans are minimal and overflowing. I think a little more attention there would do wonders for the experience.
