The room offered (single room) was tastefully furnished and had a bathroom. Of course it is not luxurious. The view from the window shows the pedestrian zone. It was quiet at night.Lake Constance can be reached on foot in about 100 m.

We booked the Schwabenstube guesthouse in Meersburg at short notice for a weekend. The location is good, right in the city center, you can park cheaply nearby. The rooms are simple, the bathroom is small, the furnishings are a bit colorful (Swabian-African). I found the hostess' rustic charm to be getting used to.

Reservation was confirmed by email, but the room was assigned twice. The only available room in town in another hotel was almost three times more expensive (140 instead of 50/night). Only a subsidy of 40 euros was paid instead of covering the difference. Given the chaos on the reservation slips, it's no wonder that it didn't work.

Only the location, cleanliness and breakfast in the neighboring hotel were very good.We had 2 rooms. The ambience is actually non-existent and not at all consistent with Lake Constance. Seems like it was put together carelessly. A bed frame covered with floral fabric does not also need a floral duvet.The laminate flooring was worn out. The top layer is partially no longer present. Shower head nozzles defective (a new shower head doesn't cost much) mattresses very soft to saggy. In theThe stairwell has permanent light, which shines through the glued-on window in the door at night. Soundproofing is virtually non-existent. You can clearly hear the noises from other rooms and the creaking stairs can be heard everywhere.Bicycles can only be stored in the hallway or in the store below in the warehouse. You have to go through the store with itBicycle. Not particularly professional if bicycle storage was guaranteed in the phone call.No wonder that when you leave you are not asked whether you enjoyed your stay.I/we can understand the positive reviews in a small way.The price of €95 plus €8 for final cleaning per double room for one night is greatly exaggerated for the quality offered and the inconsistent ambience.I rate this objectively as I often stay in hotels on business. This was a private trip and the family was not at all impressed with this accommodation.I wish the owner continues to have full booking calendars (which are obviously only kept on paper, with the comment thank God I entered both rooms). We will definitely not recommend or book this accommodation.Make up your own mind and write an honest, objective review.

We booked here from July 12th to 16th. A very pleasant surprise. It was a really nice stay the whole day. The breakfast opposite in the Alte Post was very good. The buffet was plentiful and with a good selection. We would be happy to come here again and can absolutely recommend this guest house.

This is the third time I've come to the Schwabenstube and we've always really enjoyed our stay! Great location - around the corner from the promenade and small harbor in Meersburg :-) clean rooms... very friendly staff and boss - we'd love to come back!

Get a double room at short notice in the high season for €80/night. Very nicely furnished - everything you need. Directly in Meersburg’s ‘downtown’

Very spacious room with double bed, sofa, TV, refrigerator, bathroom.Last year the room was sparkling clean. This year it was the same and everything was disinfected.There is a garden right next to the room.With a meal voucher you can have breakfast at the hotel opposite.The hosts are warm and accommodating.

Top rooms and location, also the breakfast in the hotel. was flawless. Unfortunately, an employee didn't know what to do when we tried to return the offer of a cheap parking ticket. Checking out/paying was only possible from 10 a.m. because the owner's shop opened on the ground floor.
