Great experience! The rooms are spacious, loved the view on the trees and the garden. Breakfast is amazing. Great variety of local (meat) dishes in the restaurant, everything we tried exceeded our expectations during our three-night stay. On top of that, all the staff was very friendly and extremely hospitable. Some knowledge of German (or a pocket dictionary alongside) is recommended for an optimal experience.We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you very much for the excellent care! I really like staying in Gasthaus Kreuz. The rooms are really nice and I have slept well on the beds. I have also chosen to eat breakfast in Kreuz every morning and it's a really great breakfast: lots of fresh buns/bread with a lot of different kinds of cheese and meat (bacon, ham etc.). On top of that are the surroundings really stunning and there is a lot of things to do (a lot of things are for free because of a card you get in Kreuz). The only bad thing about this Gasthaus is that the administration isn't that good (but in the end we got what we paid for). I would really recommend this place!

We were there with our child from Saturday to Monday.Everything worked out super uncomplicated.Nice clean large rooms.Everything neat and tidy.The food was simply world class and the breakfast was also very tasty and sufficient.Great quiet area and very nice people.

Poor communication from the waiters. Orders were forgotten. Very long waiting time, even though the number of guests was manageable.The food is relatively expensive and the taste is not a revelation.The only plus point is that the rooms are new, large and bright.And everything is barrier-free.

... a leisurely lunchShort version :-): ... if you want a really, really good lunch, it's a must - come here!A little more detailed, but gladly?! ... the palate is simply pampered here. We (my partner & I) describe the kitchen as excellent!!! By the way, “price/performance” is what we say -> absolutely worth it!... we have already reserved again and -> we also recommend it, it is a very well-attended and sought-after restaurant. A word about the restaurant & service: ... very inviting, comfortably furnished, extremely friendly & accommodating!!! ... and as we know and appreciate it here, somehow homely and familiar - we like it a lot :-) ... it's a kind of insider tip, if there was a sixth star - we would give it, but better -> us say, go here yourself - see for yourself. ... we would like to say thank you for a successful Sunday lunch and we would be happy to come back ... :-)
