We spent our 11 day vacation in Villa Amelie, Apartment Baltic Sea. The apartment is spacious and modern and we were pleasantly surprised.Unfortunately, some deficiencies emerged, which unfortunately were not addressed.The towel rack in the bathroom was broken, so the towels kept falling onto the floor. The locks on the bedroom closet are broken. The coffee cups were still stained with coffee residue from the previous person. The beach chair, which was very important to us as my husbandis disabled and we wanted to spend relaxing hours on the balcony, but it wasn't usable because it was broken. There was no longer any front curtain (sun protection) and the front bracket was hanging down with a torn screw (risk of injury). So we had to sit on the balcony for hours on hard wooden chairs, which was not pleasant.It would be appropriate to put fly screens on the windows as we had to eliminate mosquitoes, wasps and spiders every day. We booked through the Sassnitz Tourist Information Office and our complaints were not taken seriously. When asked about the towel rack, we were told that they didn't know that. When we spoke to the lady who was responsible for cleaning the apartment, she told us that the towel holder had been broken for a long time.All in all very disappointing and there was no holiday fun. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DEAL WITH PAYING GUESTS!!!!We really liked the town of Sassnitz and the seaside resorts of Sellin and Binz.There is an urgent need for action in the FEWO!!! We would have liked to have discussed these defects with the owner, but we were denied contact for data protection reasons (?).
