Located in a pleasant village near other similar villages, the ambience was simply comfortable. This nice feeling carried throughout the hotel. ||The owners and all staff were exemplary--they couldn't do any better.||Full breakfast buffet and outstanding dinners, gourmet level.||Room (we had a suite) was just great.

We stayed here for 7 days and enjoyed it, despite the mixed weather. Nice, considerate staff including the owner family. The food as half board with the daily lunch snack was “top” and left nothing to be desired. Thanks again. The wellness area also meets a good standard. Good transport connections are ideal for exploring the Allgäu region on foot, by bike or by car. Thank you again, your Marx family

We were booked into the Hotel Mittelburg for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautifully situated in the countryside, with many hiking opportunities and beautiful nature.The service is extremely friendly and what particularly stands out is the family atmosphere. The food also impressed us, it was high quality and freshly made and the breakfast was second to none (lots of homemade food and a great selection of cheese and sausage, large selection of bread).The wellness area is beautifully done and soothing.We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

My wife and I had a very nice stay in June. The possibility of being able to move into a room with a dog was very pleasant and made our stay possible. The wellness area is very good and the location of the hotel is also good for short hikes directly from the hotel.We were impressed by the consistently friendly service as well as the flexibility and quality of the cuisine. Every dish was very tasty and the registered intolerances were already taken into account for each dish without having to be pointed out again.We will definitely come back and wish you all the best until then!

We spent a weekend in September at the Hotel Mittelburg.You are warmly welcomed at reception and the charm of the family-run small hotel immediately captivates you.The rooms are very clean and well-kept, the whole hotel exudes a certain warmth and cosiness, especially thanks to the somewhat old furniture.All the employees were extremely friendly and accommodating, and orders, such as a bowl of potato salad for a barbecue with friends outside the hotel, are a given here.In the garden you can take in the Allgäu in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere, go hiking in the area or enjoy the wellness area.Anyone who wants to enjoy the Allgäu far away from huge 5***** luxury hotel chains and prefers a personal, family atmosphere should make a detour to the Hotel Mittelburg.Thanks for the great time!!!

An all around perfect stay! The room and wellness area were spotlessly clean and well maintained. Although the accommodation and the spa area are not huge, it was just right for us - a relaxing and relaxing weekend. The absolute highlight was the service. We have rarely experienced so much warmth and friendliness, especially from Michi and Thomas. Even on a rainy weekend, we always felt comfortable in the cozy fireplace room. And the food, with the owner's fresh porcini mushrooms, was simply fantastic!
