Location is good but the service was the worst I have ever experienced and totally ruined the experience for us.We were so shocked how unfriendly a person can be.We tried to visit friends and did not realise that there are two camping grounds at the same location. The service personal was so unfriendly and urged us to buy a ticket as soon as we left the car before we could contact our friends. Already irritated by the unfriendliness we realised after 30 minutes that we checked into the wrong camping ground. We did not get a refund, where treated like idiots and my friend almost started to cry. We switch to the camping ground next door (Borlefzen GmbH) and hope to never have to come near the camping ground (Sonnenwiese) agein.The camping ground next door (Borlefzen GmbH) is nice and we enjoyed our stay there it was also cheaper than the Sonnenwiese camping ground.Seems like the service personal is part of a family business so I don't expect that my comment helps improve the situation. If the camping ground Borlefzen GmbH has free space left I would always go there.

The place is really lovingly designed. Around the somewhat dried out lake there are beautiful walkways, great flower beds decoration, playground and large campfire area and and and. I've never really seen a campsite that has come up with so much.. look at the photos. Of course there are corners where nature takes over. But that didn't bother me.Then a man from Cologne and an East Frisian were also discussing what friendliness looks like.I was there on June 25th and found it a shame that the restaurants and the kiosk still had very short opening times, also because there was no supermarket within walking distance. That only cash is taken. But the prices for mobile surfers cannot be found on the homepage, which is not possible. Nevertheless, I was impressed by the new, clean plumbing. And an hour in the pool just for me was special.

Camping holiday with WoWa+ awning. We traveled as a family with dog and child.The plot was sufficiently large, with direct fish water and electricity connections, as well as wastewater.The place is well maintained and beautifully laid out. Access roads are wide for turning and two trailers can also fit past each other.The site has a pond facility and a swimming pond.There was a pool, a sauna, the solarium and the fitness room, as well as the pedal/pub pool.The place is very child-friendly with a large playground. At the entrance there is a carousel and an elephant to ride.There is a children's toilet, children's sink and shower, these were clean.A second playground is at the restaurant/reception.There was a pool, a sauna, the solarium and the fitness room, as well as the pedal/pub pool.We found it to be dog friendly.The bread roll service is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.The kiosk is open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. After 10 a.m. you can get everything in the shop from the reception.All in all, we really liked it.
