Wow what a reception at this hotel by a man called Kevin, what an incredible sense of service, friendliness this man has and what expertise he had about the hotel and the area. If I had a hotel business, I would have wanted a man like Kevin to have worked for me. This hotel really has all the chocolate you can think of and such incredibly good chocolate. The whole hotel is so clean and fresh, the room was perfect in every way and the hotel's relaxation area with swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi was wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, wonderfully good with a good selection, the best hotel breakfast I have eaten and the staff who took care of the breakfast 3rd September -2022 were so incredibly nice and service-friendly. The hotel is as close to the city core of this small, cozy town as it gets. The hotel is suitable for all types of people. The hotel has a good and large parking lot right outside. I really recommend this hotel.

What a wonder full little hotel in a small cozy village. The service from Kevin was outstanding and helped us all. This place is experts on chocolates, and they have all kinds of chocolates and pralines. Amazing taste, and the breakfast was so good, so yummy and amazing. If I could give higher grades I would. They only thing, which seemed to be in our room, was that it was a bit warm, but that's the only thing I can think of. Everything else was just glorious. I hope we will be back.

Great hotel and great spa but horrible beds. We booked the suite. They were extremely hard and we had a hard time getting decent sleep. I don’t understand why a hotel purchases mattresses who are so hard and therefore so specific for a small group of people. Too bad.

Best breakfast I ever had in Germany (and I travel a lot).Very nice pool, jacuzzi for 1 person, nice sauna, very friendly staff.Rooms are also good but not the best.I totally enjoyed for 2 times the stay and I will definitely go back.

We sat on the balcony people watching, we had a couple beers and a bowl of nuts. It was so relaxing. Our waitress was charming and helpful, telling us about the beers, attentive but not intrusive. It was the highlight of our days cycling.

Overall a real delight to stay here. Very comfortable - excellent food at the different meals. The values of the Voss family owners shines through the whole operation. For chocolate aficionados this is a very special place.

A very good weekend escape for my wife and me. Rooms and all around the chocolate are excellent. Pool is a bit small, SPA and Sauna were ok. Breakfast was very decent, staff was friendly and helpfull.

Loved it. Entrance shows chocolate, reception chocolate, foyer chocolate, during dinner chocolate, in the bar chocolate etcetera. So nice. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. We should really go back there again. Great.

The Schokoladenhotel was a really nice experience that we discored by chance because we were trekking in the area and needed a place to stay. It has really nice staff, good food, big rooms and really tasty chocolate! ;-) If the weather is good, I specially recommend booking a table in the terrace that they have directly on the "Duz Platz", the central square of the town
