Stopped in spontaneously for lunch on Whit Monday.Well attended and still managed to get a seat.We had roast goose with dumplings and red cabbage. The cook was probably very in love with it - please taste it first. Too much is unhealthy; better then season it again. When paying, ask the guest "did it taste good, were you satisfied?" that's fine, even if a stranger looks in and says thank you, dear guest, for visiting us.I hope that this doesn't disappear in our society in the future.

Very good gastronomy in Göschitz. Beautiful, rustic village restaurant. Food super fresh and delicious. The head of the house cooks. His wife does very good service in the dining room. She is very friendly and always has time for a little chat every now and then. Definitely worth stopping.

An inn away from the city, delicious home cooking like grandma's. Ambiance like an old farm, clean and nice.

We just ate at the inn.+ tasty and large portions- Poor service: very long waiting times, dishes were not cleared or were left much too late-/+ sometimes higher prices- The only vegetarian/vegan dish were fries (on the children's menu!!!) and the starter soup. This is an absolute no go these days!

A cozy country inn with home-style Thuringian cuisine and fresh draft beer. Just as you would expect. Friendly, quick and uncomplicated. We were just as satisfied in October 2019 as we are today. The little detour is definitely worth it!

Excellent ambience, excellent home cooking, traditionally prepared dishes from the original regional cuisine.Friendly service and all meals can also be taken away. When ordering take-away, please bring your own eating utensils such as pots and other utensils typical of food in order to avoid useless plastic waste.A very beautiful and spacious ballroom, a billiards room and a dining room offer enough space for every celebratory occasion. In addition, guests who plan longer stays are also catered for in the form of rentable guesthouses/guest rooms. All in all, an all-round carefree package for gourmets, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. I highly recommend it

We went on a week-long motorcycle vacation here in 2018 with 8 people and found this rustic location simply beautiful... rustic and in need of a bit of renovation, but full of charm and nice people. The Knoch family served and treated us absolutely courteously and created a family atmosphere. On the 3rd day we already had our first beer in our hands when we got home and were still in the saddle...that's what I call great service...top...food good and plentiful... what more could you want... oh yes... the prices.... never had a holiday so cheap.... we definitely have to go there again.... it's a beautiful landscape down there too....

A great inn that absolutely invites you to linger. Pretty little rooms, super nice hosts. You just feel welcome. The cuisine is down-to-earth and totally delicious. My top favorites are the fried potatoes and solyanka. We'd love to come back. Jürgen and Diana Bridegroom
