The hotel itself is nice, but their policies detracted from the stay. You have to check-out and bring the keys back quite early to a completely different location down the elevator in the lower town (where you also check in). This led to a line of at least 10 people waiting to check out since the company that owns this hotel owns many properties on the island. Many people were stressed (ourselves included) about missing ferries and booked tours while waiting in that line. Also, the check-in/out hours were quite restrictive: check-in is at 16:00 and check-out is until only 10:00 am. It feels like they’re cutting the corners all around a little too much. That being said, the property itself is nice and the garden overlooking the sea was lovely.

Decent room with average view overlooking the beach. Standard breakfast is provided. Won't find the friendliest staff here but Heligoland in general isn't a very tourist-friendly place for non-white visitors. Be prepared to receive stares and confused looks if you're not a local (or look like one).

Cosy hotel situated on the Oberland with spectacular views over the harbour and Dune. Some rooms have a balcony to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while enjoying the view. Stayed early in the season and not busy.

We were guests here with a group. We felt comfortable here. The breakfast offered enough choice and was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy. Yes, maybe the furniture isn't the latest... but it's safe and clean for me because I have my eyes closed most of the time in the room. The location and the view are fantastic if you choose a room with a lake view.I would book it again.

The view of the water is unique. The service is very warm and accommodating, and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. The rooms are a bit small, but this is not unusual on Heligoland. There is a star deduction for the bathroom, which is cramped due to the very large sink. Overall, we would love to come back here at any time.

Every hospital has better rooms, no reception, no picture on the wall, furniture from 1950-1960.For over 250 euros / night without a balcony or terrace, not recommended.Disappointment is huge. The promotional photos are really beautiful 🤔

A warm and beautiful little hotel‼️Run with love and heart‼️❤️We stayed for 1 week on the top floor (balcony with deck chairs) with a view of the dune. The house is not the most modern, but it is well maintained, very well equipped and follows the Bauhaus style. The location is absolutely great: 1st row in the Oberland with the best view. The staff is great, as is the breakfast! Thumbs up! And thank you very much! We'll be back next year (at the latest)‼️😎👍🙏
