It was a small family run hotel in the countryside. Most of the rooms were located on the 1st floor without lift. The furniture inside the room were lovely hand-painted with warm colour. We had dinner at that hotel. …

Restaurant review only: Poor inattentive service, mixing up orders. Food was horrible! The salad buffet is a joke, just on the verge of going bad, covered up with loads of vinegar. Impossible to eat. The noodles were overcooked, and very badly so.We will not be coming back.

We went for lunch with 4 people. The food was average, the service lady was very, very unfriendly. An example:We had reordered an espresso. There was almost nothing going on in the dining room. After about 10 minutes we asked if she had forgotten the espresso. “It’s over there” was the answer. About 3 minutes later it was delivered, logically only lukewarm. You can't treat guests like that. The lady probably goes into the basement to laugh.

We had fond memories of the restaurant and so we went there to eat. And it was by no means a good decision! The soups were still not available, although they were still on the menu. The vegetable pan was just frozen food with a tetrapak hollandaise sauce. Simply subterranean for our understanding of restaurant food! The guests were too much for the service, too bad!!!

We were surprised that the hospitality was very rude. It was only open to hotel guests and we had to bring a lot of time with us. It would be best if we left. That was the feeling. We weren't the only ones who were sent away in this way. We've been to the Moselle several times and it's always been very good, but we've never experienced anything like it.As a house guest it can certainly be nice, but as a normal guest we felt like foreigners.
