We visited in a touring campervan. It's a lovely site with great views (and walks) of the Mosel river and valley with vineyards all around the site. The pitches are small but everything is close by.The toilets and showers are very modern and clean. The bar and restaurant and shop all look beautiful. We only had drinks but they were great and the service was excellent

We needed to get cash to check-in and were recommended to drive to the nearest village 5km away. During the 30-40 minutes we were away they thought it would be a good idea to close the reception so we were unable to check-in when we returned. They didn't mention that we needed to hurry and they also had our mobile number. We needed to find another camping site. That is not the way to treat customers!

It's an ok site but very cramped! You are extremely close together! We were put in a corner of the site under a tree with no view of the river mosel and so close to our neighbour we could reach out & touch their window. …

Rude and unaccommodating. We needed to leave at 7 to catch a ferry to England we would otherwise miss. They were beyond unaccommodating and insisted we cannot leave earlier than 8. They said the gate cannot open before 8 which is ridiculous. 20 minutes of haggling we were allowed to stay but with no electricity for the full price as they didn’t have time to count it in the morning.

This is our second time on this site, the last time being in 2019. Since then the toilet block has been completely refurbished and is now nice and modern. The owners were good to us because we stayed for 2 weeks then went on a 3 week cycling trip then stayed for another week on our return. They allowed us to put our caravan in storage on the site for 5 euros a day which we were really pleased with. It's a very busy site so booking is advisable. Yes, there is noise from the road, especially on the other side of the river but this is offset by the fantastic views. The Moselle cycle route runs close by and there are good places to eat in the area. The site restaurant serves basic but good food.

Location is great, the view is stunning but the woman at the reception is really unfriendly, rude. From the minute we arrived we felt that we were not welcome. I really don't understand why people start a business in hospitality if they don't like guest :-(Everything we asked was too much, a fan in the room, ice cube for our water, a sponge to clean the table. She was rude toward our kids. Just not willing to give us a good experience. In our room, it is increadibly warm. No fan, no air-co. I don't think we will be able to sleep tonight.I never had such a bad experience before. Probably the worst place to stay around here. And the story continues.... shortly after I posted above review, the owner came to us. But not to apologize or make it good. No, he came to express his anger. He was furious, called us bad names and gave us 5 min to pay our open bill at the bar/restaurant and leave the camping. My husband and I were in chocked. It was late and our kids were already in bed so we decided to ignore the warning. He came back with his wife, she was shouting in German, she woke up our kids and threatned us.This was a crazy and scary experience. If you want to have a good time and enjoy holiday, YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE !!!!There are many nicer options in the area.

-Service was great, but I am bias as a dutch speaking belgian as I was helped by an seasonal belgian worker...-Location is good, but note a noisy road (speed limits not adheared), camper/motorhomes have spots nearest to the road. the good mosel spaces are taken by seasonals. Camper spaces are also quite small, our neighbors moved as they couldn't extend their cover awning.-small kids playground, great showers and charging stations, very cost effective.-40 min bike ride to BernKastel, an absolute must!

We have come to this place every year for 7 years. This year the campsite has new owners. We left at 7.45 in the morning and we opened the gate which is not even locked. …

One star is about a full star too much for this place. To be fair, we didn't get to camp here because the owner/manageress was so rude to us on arrival that we just turned around and left. This individual really should not be in a customer facing job. We did arrive later in the evening ( about 7pm) and it clearly interrupted her socializing with friends around the beer table (who all seemed amused by this behaviour), but we were greeted with a tirade of shouting and gesticulating about where we stopped and parked to check in - just outside the office which wasn't obviously indicated on any signs- so we just politely thanked the lady, turned around and went to stay at the much friendlier Paradise camping in Kröv just up the road, where they were much more accustomed to customer service and being able to deal with foreign campers (yes, I do speak fluent German so I knew exactly what was being said).Sadly this is an experience we encountered twice in a day around this area, seems certain foreign tourists aren't always welcome in some of these places around this particular area if your face doesn't fit- and having lived and worked in Germany on and off for the past 30 years, I'm glad to say this is not typical behaviour should you wish to visit and these lunatic individuals are just the exception.. Just don't come to this particular camping park or the one in Graach if you want to be made to feel welcome.
