Sadly not a good experience. We had booked a table in the wine-area, but they placed is outside - not what we wanted. When we got seated, it took a while for anything to happen. We ordered and then.... They forgot about us, we waited 1 hour when they arrived with wine and glasses for our second course - we had not had our first one yet..... More waiting for mediocre food. The fries seemed to be triple fried; like they tried to reuse the food they had prepared before they realized we had not had our starters. Just a really disappointing experience for waaay too much money, as the food wasnt really any good. The servers were nice but way too busy.

Located in the charming village of Zelting Rachtig along the Mosel River, Zeltinger Hof is a delightful dining destination that effortlessly combines a cozy atmosphere with a rich culinary and oenophilic experience. The restaurant, seamlessly integrated with the hotel, features three distinct spaces that enhance the overall dining ambiance.Upon entering, guests are welcomed by the warm and inviting front section, while towards the back, a larger hall awaits, creating an intimate yet spacious setting. Additionally, a genuine wine cellar is nestled below, adding a touch of old-world charm to the overall atmosphere. The interior design is a tasteful blend of natural elements, incorporating wood and stone, creating a harmonious and comfortable setting for patrons.Throughout the venue, the walls are adorned with an impressive display of wine bottles and images showcasing the picturesque vineyards along the Mosel. The focal point of the restaurant is the wine climate cabinets, showcasing an extensive wine selection that is truly a connoisseur's dream. The comprehensive wine list is not only available in a hefty printed book but also accessible on a tablet, making it convenient for patrons to explore the vast array of options. Nearly all prominent local producers are featured, boasting vintages dating back to the early 20th century. The menu at Zeltinger Hof is a culinary journey through the region, offering local specialties such as Kürbiscremesuppe (pumpkin cream soup), Großer Salatteller Eifel-Hähnchenstreifen und gebratenen Pilzen (large salad with Eifel chicken strips and sautéed mushrooms), and "Zeltinger Flaschenkost" (Zeltinger bottle fare). For those with a penchant for game, an extensive selection includes Rehnüsschen mit gebratenen Pilzen (venison medallions with sautéed mushrooms), Rehrücken mit gebratenen Pilzen (venison saddle with sautéed mushrooms), and Wildschweinfilet mit gebratenen Pilzen (wild boar fillet with sautéed mushrooms). Each dish proudly identifies the local hunters responsible for sourcing the game. The flavors of the dishes are exquisite, embodying a purity that reflects the expected quality from this region. The attentive and friendly service enhances the overall dining experience, creating an environment where patrons feel well taken care of.During our visit, we opted for a beautiful bottle of SA Prüm Sonnenuhr Wehlener Riesling GG from 2018, a testament to the exceptional wine offerings available. Zeltinger Hof is undeniably a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and those who appreciate the rich culinary traditions of the Mosel Eifel region. The restaurant seamlessly combines a passion for wine with a dedication to delivering authentic and flavorful local cuisine, making it a standout destination in this picturesque corner of Germany.

Very authentic atmosphere and delicious food.We booked a table in advance using the hotel website from Google maps, however the staff could not find the reservation in their internal database when we arrived. Nevertheless the host found a table for us despite it was the new year's eve and obviously all places were booked. We had a nice time!
