We celebrated our wedding at the Eulenschmiede and since the country inn is very close, we reserved rooms and the holiday apartment for our family and friends. Everything was perfect! The rooms are friendly, clean and furnished up to date, the same applies to the holiday apartment. The innkeeper even put a champagne bottle and glasses in our room for us as a bride and groom, just great. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared and left nothing to be desired (there was even vegan spread). If you had any questions or requests, you were immediately helped. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Very disappointing. When I requested a room, I was told that the guest was over 90 years old and that I needed a room on the 1st floor at most.According to the operator, no problem. They got a room on the 2nd floor with a steep staircase. That doesn't work at all. Absolutely bad service for me.Not recommendedUnfortunately I had to give one star otherwise I wouldn't have been able to rate it.

Simple, clean apartment with a delicious breakfast and nice hosts. We booked the accommodation after a party at the Eulenschmiede, which is within walking distance.

We felt very comfortable. Room tip top clean. The breakfast is really exceptionally extensive and delicious. The dishes are not only a pleasure for the stomach, but also for the eyes. Here the boss cooks himself. And he can do something!!! Feel free to come back at any time.

Reserved last year.During this time the owner changed. So the reservations were not accepted. We then sat down for a moment to find a solution. My colleague accidentally destroyed a napkin with a small kink...The waitress came to us straight away and said: That doesn't have to be the case now. And was very vicious to us. So we sat out. But that wasn't enough for her and she came out again and continued to discuss things with us. So this company can't deal with people... We come here every year and would have chosen this inn in the future. But it's really no fun.

The restaurant advertised in our local newspaper with a variety of high-quality vegetarian and vegan food. However, the only vegan dishes are tomato soup and fries (as well as a simple salad with vinegar/oil dressing). The vegetarian selection was limited to additional cheese spaetzle. This can be found in every standard restaurant, but when vegan/vegetarian food is publicly advertised, you expect a lot more!I even asked if this was actually all there was to choose from. -Yes. And whether you could make the Flädle soup with vegetable broth. - No.So I ate salad. My three companions waited over an hour for their food. (There was only one other table occupied apart from us, so you can't blame it on the rush.) The quality of the meat was absolutely not worth the money, the steak had nothing to do with an actual steak. None of the four people were full, despite the high prices. The service seemed haphazard and was anything but friendly.Once and never again!

Great place to hold a small celebration. Unfortunately, eating for around 40 people takes a long time. The last ones got their food when the first ones were already finished. But the food was very good.
