We went on a covered wagon ride with Mr. Schweikart with a large group of friends.Because we had made the wrong appointment at the meeting point, he barked at us for the first time. But then his customers were still allowed to use the toilet. The drive through the vineyards was quite amusing and we gained many new impressions and heard nice stories. After completing the tour, we wanted to buy a few bottles of wine for the journey home since we had arrived by train. He then told us that we should go and have some ice cream... It was probably too much for him to go to the winery with us again. Then we suggested that he take the opened bottles of wine with him. But he categorically refused because it was written in large letters on his covered wagon.Which is of course strange because you actually paid for all the bottles of wine that you get to drink on the tour. And that at a proud price of €34 per person. One thing is certain for us, we will not recommend the covered wagon ride.Apparently there is no need to be nice and friendly with your guests. We told him that too and he looked a bit confused.A bit of self-reflection would be urgently needed

We went on a covered wagon ride with Ms. Schweikart and that was really great. She told us a lot during the 3 breaks and the food/drinks were also sufficient. As a team outing it was really an experience

We were there a week ago with a group and booked two cars.We also did a wine tasting, although Mr. Schweikart had a whim that wasn't a good idea if I wanted to buy wine. For example, he didn't have a single bottle of sweet wine with him - the only thing that was good for me was the Secco. And charging 18 euros per person for that is crazy.I would also like to see the prices for the covered wagonsRethink the trip 38 euros per person was already tough. In any case, we will never come back with the group,But he probably doesn't need it and he showed us that with his mood

Cozy accommodation that has everything you need to survive. Of course not 5 star accommodation, but very suitable for spending a good time in Godramstein/Landau. 3 bottles of wine in the wine rack, butter, coffee and milk were in the cupboard/fridge, clean towels, shower, 2 double bedrooms, TV, free WiFi. Kitchen is fully equipped except for microwave. Coffee and machine are also available. The operators are very nice, the wine is produced themselves. This is my third time here. The TV with HDMI has its best days behind it 😜 All conditions are met for Fire TV.

Agree with Ms. Völker! We had a very nice trip with the gentleman. But, he was about 10 minutes late (not a problem in itself). But in the end we reached our destination almost 10 minutes before the planned time. There we were so harassed to finish our drinks quickly...And when we politely said that we really still had a few minutes left, the nice gentleman drove his covered wagon and "kindly" gave us his not-empty glasses. We paid almost €500 and him(why tipped €25) and he can't wait 5 minutes? Maybe we were drunk, but he earns his money by taking wagon rides and serving wine. That simply doesn't work.

We went on a very entertaining covered wagon ride today. Food, wines and great information about the surrounding area and viticulture were presented in a fun way. The good 3 hours flew by, even the children had a lot of fun. Highly recommended, especially if the weather cooperates ;)

We booked a vineyard tour on the most beautiful summer weekend in 2021. The boss himself was at our meeting point on time. We started with fresh bread, delicious canned sausage, cheese, plenty of mineral water and wine from our own cellar to the vineyards of Birkweiler. In between there were a few stops with information and anecdotes from the driver and owner. We really didn't miss anything on the tour. The organization was also smooth, there are always two pages involved. Only aftersales management still needs some improvement. We all had a lot of fun and I'll quote what participants said: The entertaining covered wagon ride through the vineyards with Palatinate Worscht and Wei was simply brilliant. Our coachman was great!!! Another: The winemaker who drove us through the vineyards with a covered wagon and tractor was worth every cent with his explanations! No more words are needed.

Twelve of us took this wagon ride for my birthdayThe trip and the nice explanations about wine were informative and explained very nicely by Ms. Schweikart. The view and the atmosphere were great! The only annoyance, and sorry dear Mr. Schweikart, is your behavior and your tone with paying guests who don't leave your yard as quickly as possible in a good mood after the trip. With the utmost understanding for your end of work, but you should definitely think about aggression therapy. It doesn't work that way and I have to deduct 2 stars from the 5 stars your wife earned with the trip for her boorish behavior. So, unfortunately I can't recommend you!

We were 9 girls and went on the covered wagon ride as a JGA. Gerhard was our driver and it was just amazing. Was great fun. We had our own music box with us. That wasn't a problem. There was plenty of food and drinks. We recommend!

We were registered as a senior group for the covered wagon trip. Since we had planned to travel by train, we were once again very disappointed by Deutsche Bahn. One train was completely canceled and the next one arrived late and didn't reach the connecting train either. After speaking to Mr. Schweikart on his cell phone, he told us he would just wait until we arrived, which we managed to do more than an hour late. We were warmly welcomed. Then we started through the vineyards. On the covered wagon there was plenty of home-made food, cheese, farmer's bread and of course organic wine from our own winery and water. Mr. Schweikart has a lot of knowledge about viticulture and was also able to tell us a lot about the area (Hambcher Schloß Triefels). We were all very enthusiastic about the trip, which unfortunately ended for us at Godramstein train station. We can recommend Mr. Schweikart for covered wagon rides
