Rating only applies to the wine hike:Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't fit at all. Wine hike is more of a walk of about 1 hour. Unfortunately, tasting 5 wines and a really small bite of food for 59 euros doesn't fit. Even though the cheese was organic, it was only two small pieces. It's a shame, because what was explained to us was really interesting.

We redeemed our Jochen Schweizer voucher there for a vineyard hike followed by a tasting. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, the inner courtyard was attractively decorated. The owner made the hike entertaining and informative, and the first wine was tasted at a great viewing point. A lot was learned about organic viticulture, quality characteristics and new grape varieties (Piwi wines). A further tasting of 4 wines accompanied by a lovingly prepared finger food platter rounded off the evening. There was also the opportunity to buy wine, but you didn't feel like you were being forced to buy, which was very pleasant and you probably know it from one or two wine tastings. Definitely a recommendation 👍

We took part in this vineyard tour followed by a tasting three years ago. Both times we weren't disappointed. We were told a lot about wine growing, harvesting, the area and the Palatinate, the country and its people. After the short hike, which is also suitable for people who are not very good at walking, the very different and tasty wines were clearly presented and then tasted. The “wine tasting” had already begun on the way. A very successful event. To put it with the regional toast:For the benefit. The Palatinate.

A very nice holiday apartment with everything you need, fridge, stove, bed, walk-in closet, bathroom and good wine 😉.The landlords are also very friendly and there is a very good bakery less than 300 m away. And they are dog-friendly there too.

Today we enjoyed a very nice wine hike. Mr. Eck answered our questions with a lot of specialist knowledge. Afterwards there was a wonderful wine tasting with a great cheese buffet. There were three white wines, two rosé and two red wines to taste. Of course we also bought something! :-D A great day in a very idyllic place!

We were looking forward to a few beautiful days during the almond blossom at the end of March. Unfortunately, in the Rosemary apartment we had a maximum of 20 degrees in the living room (despite the heating being turned up to full capacity, which was switched off at night), 17 degrees in the bathroom, and an outside temperature of 12-15 degrees. In the morning the apartment was completely 17 degrees. Landlord's comment: "That's a temperature you can live in." Even when we asked, we didn't get a fan heater or something similar. We then bought one ourselves (unfortunately only possible after the cold weekend). Result: sick for 1 week after vacation. Unfortunately, a bedside lamp broke during the final cleaning, which we were billed for today despite the cold and the question of goodwill (2 lamps were billed, without explanation). Nice apartment, but not recommended with THE landlord. The advertised WiFi wasn't available all day and didn't reach the back room. We will go to the wine route more often, but certainly not in one of the holiday apartments at the Fabio wine house. A pity.

A nice wine hike. However, a vicious dog and longer waiting times and a fairly high price.
