Never stayed here over night but came multiple times for coffee & cake & waffles - everything is so good! and the lady/owner is a really nice person, she literally gave me a tea and waffle for free because it is Christmas time :) Thanks a lot and I wish you all the best

The room was nice and very clean. The food was great and the staff was super friendly.The hotel is right next to the P3 hiking route, and other P routes are at a short driving distance.Perfect location for peace and quiet in nature.

A beautiful place for a little break. All wishes are catered for and half board is a real paradise for vegans. Ms. Boots cooks fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious food. We can highly recommend an active holiday here and will definitely come back.

After the circular hike, we spontaneously stopped at the farm cafe. The owner welcomed us and looked after us very warmly. We quickly decided to come for breakfast the next day (after registering). This was very tasty and organic :)We gratefully accepted the tip about allowing dogs to swim and had a lot of fun 😊In short: great landlady, delicious homemade food and super friendly!Gladly again!!! :)

We hiked the Werra-Burgen-Steig and spent a night in this oasis of well-being. The reception was very friendly and my advice that I have problems with gluten was immediately taken into account. I was given gluten-free alternatives for all meals. And that's not all: the recipes for at home were also sent along.Thank you very much for this wonderful stay. Always happy.

Nature in a nature hotel is very important here. Wonderfully located in Hessian Switzerland, on the former border strip, with great hiking trails and beautiful views of the Werra Valley, among others.The hotel is very lovingly maintained, the rooms have charm, the service is excellent, the ladies of the house go to great lengths to accommodate all of the guests' wishes.The food is excellent and you get good advice.We would be happy to come back and recommend a visit.

Really lovingly run hotel with fantastic breakfast and dinner. As vegan and gluten-free hikers, we got our money's worth 🥗. A delicious buckwheat flatbread was just made for us for breakfast. Very friendly hosts. The birds were chirping outside our room window. We will be back, highly recommended!

Very nicely located hotel in the middle of the great hiking area of Hessian Switzerland. We were very warmly accommodating to our complicated food requests, allergy sufferers, vegans and others were taken into account and the seven of us received a menu that suited everyone, indescribably delicious and affordable. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back.

Nice nature hotel, we received a very warm welcome and were able to shower our very dirty dogs in the basement. There were very tasty homemade cakes. In the evening the food was also very good and the breakfast was great, everything was homemade. The room was very clean, very friendly to people and dogs. We were very satisfied and can highly recommend the accommodation. We hiked the Werra-Burgen Steig and stayed in the hotel for one night.

A wonderful place in the middle of a wonderful landscape. The best place to switch off, hike and enjoy nature. The hostess cooks very tasty and fresh organic dishes in the evenings and the atmosphere in the house is friendly and familiar. An absolute recommendation, especially for those seeking peace and enjoyment.
