Summary:The location is awesome, the food and wine was fantastic but what made the experience brilliant was the team.Details:Dettelbach is a very pretty town located with great autobahn access. Plenty of parking close by to leave your vehicles outside and explore the walled town on foot.The guesthouse is fully renovated and all the details are very well thought out. The rooms are modern and all the basic amenities are in place. The courtyard is a great place to gather in the evenings and enjoy your wines. The cold plates are great for sharing.The team takes great pride in providing a personalized experience to all the guests. They are open to any questions and are more than happy to make appropriate recommendations.We did day trips to the surrounding wine country and Wuerzburg. Both areas are within 20 minutes drive from this location.We would visit again if we are in the area!

A beautiful little guesthouse with a very nice hostess! The rooms are very high quality and comfortably furnished and the beautiful courtyard invites you to enjoy a home-made wine! One thing is certain for us: we will be back!

We celebrated our wedding with 25 guests at Julia's wine bar and were overwhelmed by the beautiful location and her hospitality! The planning was uncomplicated and Julia always helped us quickly when we had a question. The preparation, the food, the wine selection and the service were great. Changes were easily addressed at any time.We and our wedding guests felt welcome at all times! Our guests also really liked the hotel rooms.Thanks Julia and Vale!

Top hotel and restaurant. The first address in Dettelbach. Julia Glaser and her team are close to the guests, very accommodating no matter how stressful it is, simply perfect hosts.The small weekly menu is varied and regional, but not the usual Franconian monotony, which is a relief. Vegetarians will also be very happy here. Considering that there is no trained chef on site, what is delivered is still beyond any doubt: outstanding. Even Kässpätzle, where the fall height can be very high, is perfect, and many renowned chefs can take an example from that. The products are of high quality across the board, workmanship, taste and presentation of the dishes are at the highest level.The wine selection includes all well-known locations in the surrounding region, of course from our own winery 😀.Price/performance ratio is excellent, considering the quality you are speechless.The rooms are of high quality and modernly equipped. If you skip the daily cleaning, you get a bottle of wine, a good deal. Very good breakfast.A top recommendation!!!

Very nice stay with a very good winemaker. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful, quiet rooms. The restaurant with its tasty food is also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly, we will definitely come back.

We wanted to have a glass of wine, unfortunately Dettelbach has its problems. Many wineries, none of them are open as hedge farms. Gasthaus Himmelstoss is an alternative. Very nice yard, very nice service, maybe a little too talkative. That's why it often takes longer to get your wish fulfilled. The wine is okay, the small dishes can also be recommended. Check it out. It was good.
