Stayed at Hotel Schloss Ysenburg and found the rooms rustic and classic. The homemade meals, including breakfast, brunch, and dinner, were delightful, with generous portions. Our only recommendation would be to update the mattresses in the rooms, either by adding toppers or replacing them entirely; we could feel the springs in the mattresses.

We had a family celebration and everything was perfect. Friendly service, great ambience in a small separate salon, champagne reception with appetizers and very tasty food. We also had two vegans among the guests, who were flexibly served something delicious, even two different dishes. The other guests all chose the roast or the rump steak, which everyone received prepared the way they wanted. And our dog was allowed to be there too. A perfect little celebration, thank you very much.

The restaurant itself is nice and most of the waiters are friendly, but not recommended for vegetarians at all. There is only one vegetarian dish on the menu which is unimaginative compared to the other main courses and far too expensive.

We spent a wonderfully lovely long weekend here. I've wanted to spend a few days in a cozy, nostalgic castle for a long time. I love these antique pieces of furniture. A friendly family atmosphere can be felt in every room. Attentive service and delicious food pamper you in a romantic setting. The location is ideal for exploring many archaeological cities in the Wetterau. Thanks to the entire team, we'll be happy to come back.
