Highly recommended guesthouse. Large rooms with a large bathroom and balcony in a quiet location, equipped with everything you need. The only drawback: carpet in the room. In the morning there is a very good breakfast with a sausage/cheese platter, egg, yogurt, grape juice and fruit. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. A refrigerator with water and wines is available for self-service.Great value for money.

Stayed here last night. Fantastic wine tasting by the owner. What enthusiasm, passion and delicious wines. Tip: sauvignon blanc.Rooms are simple, but neat and clean. Breakfast was well taken care of. Phenomenal view from the balcony.We will definitely come back!

In 2024, the room still bravely exuded the charm of the 70s/80s... rustic oak, carpeted floors and the bathroom (the shower was good and modern). The room was under the roof and was a torture to reach for my husband, who was severely disabled, as was the breakfast room. The bathroom was very narrow. When we booked, we mentioned the difficulty of walking, but the guesthouse didn't mention the many steps, which would have put us off. The flower boxes on the balconies were unsightly to look at as they were not planted and unkempt. The reception and service at breakfast was friendly and nice. We won't be coming back.

We were here as a couple with friends for a few days.It was one of the most enjoyable getaways I've ever had!The good weather, the magical landscape with a view of the Palatinate Forest, the friendly host family... just fantastic!Ms. Spieß was in the kitchen early on and served the guests a delicious breakfast, always with a friendly smile and a lot of empathy.The wines are great and the price-performance ratio is more than reasonable.Conclusion: I will recommend the house without reservation!And it wasn't the last time we were there either.Big thank you, dear Spieß family...☺️❤️

We stayed at the Spieß guesthouse with a large group and felt very comfortable there.We found the Spieß family to be friendly and warm.The rooms were clean, spacious and cozy.We particularly liked the lounge, so we almost gave up on our plan to go to a wine festival.The breakfast is absolutely worth mentioning and phenomenal. Everything you need in the morning is there (including fresh grape juice).Highly recommended and very good value for money.Thanks! 😊

The three of us stayed here for 2 nights. Very nice, quiet area.Rooms very clean and with a balcony.Hosts very friendly and great service (our hairdryer was broken, replaced immediately).The breakfast in particular is very rich and tasty and served with a lot of love.Great value for money.We recommend!

We would like to thank the Spieß family for a lovely weekend for four in their wine and guest house in Kirrweiler. Very nice, friendly and open hosts. The rooms are simple and clean with a balcony, very good value for money. A welcome in the rooms with free self-service water, tea and coffee. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious for a good start to the day. The wine tasting and wine tasting was uncomplicated and fun. It was a successful stay. Purchasing wine on the day of departure also went very quickly. We would be happy to book overnight stays with the Spieß family again. We can only recommend this wine and guest house.

We have been traveling to the Palatinate for many years and always to the Spieß family in Kirrweiler.We are warmly welcomed here. Our room was spacious and cozy with a wonderful view of the Palatinate Forest, the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The wines are also highly recommended. All in all, a well-rounded affair!!
