In contrast to most of the rooms in hotels of this category, my room had plenty of space. The hotel is located in the center of the town and one steps out of the inner court and is immediately in the pedestrian zone. …

Neustadt is in the heart of Germany's wine region and a great jumping-off point to visit places of great natural beauty and historical importance. …

This is just off the pedestrianised area of the main town square, but excellent for accessibility, price and facilities particularly if dining in Urgestein downstairs. The bells are really loud, but they don't run through the night, so are quite impressive at other times.

A nice little hotel in the middle of the “old town” of Neustadt. We are completely satisfied with the friendly service and the central location. A parking lot is not far away and inexpensive. The wake-up call (the sound of the cathedral bells) is included in the reasonable hotel price. The breakfast is excellent - everything freshly prepared and served at the table. Simply wonderful and recommended - that's what our little four-legged friend thinks too.

We had booked a surprise menu and were extremely excited. The greetings from the kitchen never ended, and we were also thrilled by the warm, friendly atmosphere. We were given excellent advice on the wine tour; the history and background of the individual wineries were carried out in a relaxed but competent manner. It wasn't the last time we were guests at Urgestein.
