A real recommendation. We were there with a van and two dogs and really happy with everything. The campsite is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, all hiking trails can be reached quickly. Shopping opportunities are also not far away. There is even a breakfast service or opportunities to buy small items on site. If we had any questions, etc. we were always greeted warmly and understandingly at the reception. We would absolutely love to come back! :-)

Great campsite.We had a wonderful time at this campsite, which is well located, in the middle of nature and surrounded by forest. You could definitely call it a “family campsite” because overall it is very quiet there.The staff was always nice and tried to provide help and advice. The kitchen and the sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly and made a good impression. In addition to the kitchen, there are two large sinks outside that can be used for washing up.There is a lounge with benches, tables and games as well as a playground. A big plus point were the spacious, unmarked pitches on the meadow with well-kept lawns, so you don't have to stand in the sand or dirt, as is often the case at other campsites.There is also a bread roll service where you can pre-order bread rolls daily. If you like it very convenient, you can even pre-order a full breakfast. There is also a small shop where you can buy the most important things and a bar where you can drink a beer in the evening.Due to the location, you can get to various hiking trails and sights in Saxon Switzerland relatively quickly. Hohnstein is only two kilometers away, where you can go directly to the castle, the outdoor pool or restaurants.All in all you can recommend the place. Prices are okay and I think we will come back.

Very nice campsite in Saxon Switzerland.Staff friendly and helpful, the place is well maintained and open to everyone.A heavenly peace and a beautiful view.The place is also very good in terms of price.Nearby, beautiful hiking trails and nice restaurants.There is also a small shop with local products.Sanitary facilities clean and nicely decorated.

The place is run very lovingly and friendly. The service is great!The washhouse is getting old, but clean! Our son's light always went out when he showered (motion detector). But he immediately felt at home on the playground.Unfortunately there is no hiking trail starting at the site, so you first have to walk along the road.

The small duck farm is in beautiful surroundings. At the campsite you can sometimes stand freely, giving it a free feel.The operators are very friendly and careful. We also really enjoyed the municipal swimming pool in Hohenstein. The freshly tapped cool 🍺 also made our hearts happy.
