We stayed at this hotel last month for my husband's birthday, staying close to family from Germany. It is a wonderful place, quiet and very clean. The breakfast staff and others are very friendly, Tessa, the lady who made the reservation for us, was very professional and attentive. We loved this place, it is only a 3-minute walk from a beautiful palace. We will return without a doubt. Thanks for all the attention.

Rooms were spacious and staff was very nice. Breakfast was not included in the price, but they offer quite a big selection. The location is ideal for reaching the Schluchtensteig. There is a sauna, whirlpool and steam bath but are offered as separate services.

Visited during a business trip. Nothing special, room was clean and quiet. The older man at reception was quite friendly. The room was shown in advance. We wanted something to eat in the evening so the cold plate was offered - the same one as on breakfast :(

I booked the hotel at the beginning of the year, but had to cancel it more than 4 weeks before the planned overnight stay for personal reasons. The owner charged a whopping 80% cancellation fee, something I've never experienced before.Owner completely unreasonable, unaccommodating and hairy even after asking twice about his demands without taking a step to accommodate him.We would be willing to pay 50%, which is absolutely unusual given the period.Hotel absolutely not recommended! You should avoid such “HOSTS”.Such business behavior is simply unbelievable, brazen, greedy and shameless.

The Rheiner couple were very friendly. The rooms were clean and the food was good.Breakfast was definitely sufficient and there was a small menu in the evening. However, the specified wellness area is NO LONGER IN OPERATION.Therefore, you should remove this from the homepage and not advertise it.I thought that was a bit of a shame, as we were really looking forward to the advertised sauna after the three days of hiking.
