Booked 2 nights here months ago. Did not receive the friendliest welcome, even questioning our booking. Weree told only had 1 space available by the river on hardstanding. We were put between long-term camping families with every bit of scrap scattered around the area. Thankfully, we went out in the day time. This is our worst experience ever on a campsite and not what we expected. Had stayed previous nights at Pommern which was completely opposite. Only reason we have given the score we have is due to good toilet/shower facilities and it was a hard standing pitch.Would not recommend.

My father arrived in the evening and accidentally parked his car on an empty campter place. The owner forced us to pay extra for the camper place on top of the regular caravan place. Unbelievable. Zero hospitality and zero common sense

We came for 2 nights and stayed for 6. A great location we loved it. We had a pitch on the side of the river, great for watching the barges and trains. A bit noisy at times but didn’t bother us. …

We loved this site and would highly recommend it. It is well kept lovely grassed areas, plenty of clean shower facilities to choose from. 2 washing machines & dryers so not many for a large site but at least they have them. …

Arrived at 3 (reception closed between 1 and 3, barrier also closed at this time. Area to park outside barrier and can walk to tent if need to). Friendly check-in. …

The camping is located nicely, but is unfortunately rather noisy. This is caused by two loud roads and a railway track nearby, and is especially noticeable at night. …

The opposite of hospitality. These guys master the art of making guests feel unwanted. Very unfriendly, even hostile reception. Despite having been assured on the phone that there was place for us, half an hour later an angry man hesitantly opens the door to the reception, and says in a derogatory tone that they are full. As if it should have been obvious to us that the spot was taken by now (we told them we would arrive in half an hour). This camping seems 'regular guests only', if you are just passing by you are obviously not welcome here

Not a good experience. We called to ask whether there was still place and were told there was. We specified we would be there in half an hour and were told it was no problem. When we arrived half an hour later, the reception was closed and a sign that said 'full' was on the door. We knocked and were met by a man who unpolitely asked us what we wanted. We explained that we had called but were told unpolitely that an hour had passed (not true) and there was no place now. We were treated like nuisance and sent away. Probably for the best, since the place did not look very good. Not advised. Giving 1 star as 0 is not possible.
