Dear Betty,I'm only now coming to a review late, and I would like to thank you again for the wonderful stay at Pension Hilmer. An ideal place to enjoy the proximity to Regensburg, as the city can be easily reached in just around 25 minutes by car. Your hospitality and caring made my stay very special.The location of your guesthouse is fantastic – surrounded by greenery and a beautiful view. My room was cozy and had everything I needed. The comfortable bed ensured restful nights.I was particularly impressed by the lovingly put together breakfast, which left nothing to be desired. The variety of food was great.But what really overwhelmed me was your love and attention to animals. They looked after not only me, but also my dog during my stay on an evening that was important to me. This is definitely more service than I expected and I am very grateful for it.Pension Hilmer is an absolute recommendation for me. Thank you again for everything. We booked the large holiday apartment for New Year's Eve with two friends and our two dogs because we wanted to celebrate somewhere away from the loud fireworks.We were all absolutely thrilled with Pension Hilmer! The apartment is really very spacious, the individual rooms even have their own sinks integrated so that you never get in each other's way ;)The Hilmer family was very warm and tried to fulfill all of our wishes.We particularly liked that everyone there is very fond of animals. Dogs are not only tolerated, but welcome :)You can go hiking in the surrounding area and the nearest supermarket is not too far away.Unfortunately the inn was closed during our stay, so we would have liked to try it out.Overall, a clear recommendation from us!

I was in this inn during the Gäubodenfest Straubing.After the hustle and bustle of the day, I was able to really relax here.The inn is in a very nice quiet area.The very good, home-cooked food was amazing.Everyone knows the saying,FEED LIKE NUTS.And it was just as delicious.The price was actually right.I felt comfortable in my small room. Everything clean and tidy.Price performance ratio was completely ok.The Hilmer family still runs their inn with heart and soul.They are super friendly, helpful and really greatHost and, above all, directly interested in the guest.I'd love to come back.Keep it up 👍

The family-run guesthouse is conveniently located in the foothills of the Bavarian Forest. The Hilmer family looks after all guests lovingly and takes care of their needs. You can spend the evenings in a pleasant atmosphere at the attached restaurant, with very good food and drinks.Leisure options in the guesthouse, such as table tennis, fitness equipment or a sauna (on request) round off the offer very pleasantly.There are many excursion options and sights in the surrounding area that can be explored and used.I was able to be a guest for a longer period of time and recommend Pension Hilmer without reservation. Thumbs up and full 5 stars. Keep it up, dear Hilmer family!

I was a guest at Pension Hilmer for a week and can only recommend it to everyone. The food is very tasty and plentiful. I felt very comfortable from the start. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, just the right place to switch off from stressful everyday life. Many thanks to all of you for the wonderful time...I'm glad to have met you and I'd love to come back. I give you 10 stars from the bottom of my heart :-)

It was our first time at Pension Hilmer but definitely not our last.It's not the newest facility but you don't need that. The beds are hygienic and extremely comfortable!Everything works, everything is clean, the breakfast offers a selection of everything and, above all, everything is run with a lot of heart. We'll be back.
