We have stayed in many hotels in East Frisia and this is our absolute favorite.We had a suite, the room was very spacious, clean and nicely furnished.The shower was hot and with decent pressure.The beds were very comfortable, good mattresses, we slept very well, no back pain.It was also dead quiet in the hotel, despite there being a lot of guests.The breakfast was good, there was nothing missing, you could even order egg dishes separately.Fast WiFi was available and there was even a secure way to store the eBikes, even with charging options.The staff and the owner were very nice.We have already threatened to come back.Highly Recommended!

Lovingly furnished hotel with nice amenities. Guest fridge, cheap drinks for a hotel to get yourself, nice lounge.Small but clean very nice room.Good, rich breakfast, small minus, baked rolls.As much as we liked the inside of the hotel, the outside area leaves a lot to be desired, despite autumn.Simply overlooked the innkeeper's strange sense of humor that was already mentioned.🙈

I have already been a guest here 3 times and am looking forward to my next stay in 2018, which is already booked.A small, tasteful hotel garni. Modern, clean, great staff and the breakfast is topped with regional products. Price and performance are still right here. It's cheaper in Neßmeriel, but not with this quality. Everywhere else I was always just annoyed. Everything is right here!!! From the warm welcome from Mrs. Alex upon arrival, the nice lady at breakfast (I forgot her name) to the room fairies, I also briefly spotted Mr. Alex in the garden, you like coming here and immediately feel at home. The “mini bar” prices are also super fair and have a good selection. If you would like to bring your own drinks, there is a communal fridge in the hallway with numbered boxes for cooling. A really great idea and I used it during a longer stay.Addendum 2018: it was once again a pleasant stay (my 4th)!!! Nothing has changed, quality is the same and I feel comfortable here. Perfect for slowing downAddendum 2023: I booked a few days in my favorite hotel because of “homesickness”. Since there was a change, this time I was greeted by Uwe. I had a double room again and wasn't disappointed, everything was clean, comfortable beds, the breakfast as you know it, just great. The nice breakfast lady has been preserved. The room fairies are always so friendly and have a little chat.This is the perfect place to relax and slow down. The drinks prices in the lounge are also very moderate and appealing, I hope they can stay that way, as do the fridges with the room boxes. A great idea to cool your drinks/snacks on the go.I wish Uwe and his wife much success with the hotel and look forward to a next stay...

Very nice little hotel, great location for all sorts of excursions and activities! Everyone on site is super friendly and the breakfast is plentiful and very tasty. My room was cozy and quiet, I felt very comfortable and would definitely come back 😊

Great little hotel on the coast, lovingly furnished rooms, great breakfast, super nice staff. Really great weekend and absolutely recommended!!!!!(insider tip) We'll definitely be back!☹️However, the new operator's sense of humor takes some getting used to!

I was the only guest and a breakfast buffet was set up just for me, which left nothing to be desired... muesli, fresh fruit. Yogurt. Sausage. Cheese etc...The operator, who was new to me, was very friendly...As always, I would love to come back

Unfortunately….The most beautiful little hotel on the coast when it was run by the Alex family. The new landlord approaches potential customers in the most unfriendly manner before asking what they want. It's a shame, we can only wish that the service and the ambience remain as good as before.
