We were at the holiday village as part of a family celebration. Fantastically located in nature as a meeting place, with very warm hosts and excellent cuisine.When allocating the rooms, we took into account that an infant comes with a stroller and our room had a terrace with access to the room 🥰 and there are short distances for everything. A huge thank you for that and everything else ☺️

The family holiday village radiates warmth. We stayed here with our extended family for two weeks and felt at home. The children scattered across the wide area, organized themselves across age groups and - they looked out for each other. Our fears were unnecessary. Interesting activities were offered for all ages, including professionally supervised tests of courage in the high ropes course. The little ones were looking forward to childcare with dedicated volunteers - and the water slide down the meadow. If you want to go on excursions, you will find everything your heart desires within a good hour. But why? The children are happy because they are the center of attention. Anyone expecting a four-star hotel, a family hotel with entertainers, clinical cleanliness is in the wrong place here. And there are offers for the soul. Anyone who wants can take part in a morning impulse. The children enjoy the rich stories and singing together, which they learned about at home. Oh yes, the furniture. You can also spill here. Anyone who loves children and thinks sustainably, like the management of the holiday village, does not pay attention to superficial eye candy or furniture fashions that are constantly adapted to the tastes of hotel guests, but rather to solidity. A blob of small visitors (and us adults) can still be visible on the otherwise clean upholstery. And the food? Diversely delicious. So, anyone who wants to experience a carefree time as a family in an environment that is supported by a good spirit is in good hands at Eckenhof. Here you are close to heaven.

I can't understand the bad reviews. The holiday village is beautifully located with a great view of historical grounds. The huts exude Black Forest flair with their wood smell and are pleasantly cool. The area is a dream for children. There is a playground, climbing frame, an idyllic little water playground, zip line in the forest, soccer field, volleyball court. The educational offering is tailored to different age groups. There's nothing wrong with the food. On the contrary, people try hard to take different needs into account. For example, a gluten-free diet was possible without any problems. There was also special cooking for vegans.

We spent a great week there, we received a very warm welcome, we had a house for 6 people, certainly not the most modern equipment, you could notice small defects, but everything was there. It could certainly be modernized a little here and there. But the great area with a football field, water playground, playground for the little ones and the nearby forest are ideal for the kids. There is a large barbecue area where you can also have a campfire. The interns who looked after the kids were great, the little 3-5 year olds have a small children's house to look after, the older ones meet on the terrace and played table football, table tennis, in the woodworking shop, climbing or in the forest. In the afternoon there are various activities for young and old, including crafts, games and fun. If there is nothing for you, then go on a trip. On the day of arrival there was a buffet evening, cold and warm, drinks, water are always free, other things can be purchased cheaply. The 3x lunch was also great, plentiful, always refilled and it tasted good. On the last day there was a brunch, again with a lot of choice and something for everyone. There were also free tickets for the swimming pool, you can discover a lot in the nearby area. Larger cities are about 30 minutes away. All in all a very great holiday. Thank you

We had a very nice and great stay there. Everyone was very nice to us and the carers were very nice to our children. My children were very happy and excited. Only the rooms weren't modern and we had to get used to the smell. Nevertheless, the overall package was right. If the children liked it then the parents are happy too 😊

Everything disgusting, mold, stains, smell impossible. The pictures were from when she rebuilt it, some of the pillows or blankets are missing. Light doesn't work. No recommendation.I guess the reviews are from themselves so they can't fool more people
