The hostess seems overwhelmed. She immediately blew up when I just asked where the washing machine was. It was 3:26 p.m. and she pointed out the lunch break, which only lasts until 3 p.m. …

We have been coming to Oase Baltrum since 1995 and have already tried out a few holiday apartments here in the oasis! Everyone was super great! Always clean, always being renovated! A big thank you goes to the Hinrichs family, who always try very hard, even if you need something, they always help. This is how vacation is fun

I have been a regular guest at Oase Baltrum for more than 20 years. Everything here is constantly being brought up to date. From the bathrooms to the solar system to their own app: the Hinrichs couple really do everything to make their guests feel comfortable. The luggage service provided by Mr. Hinrichs, who collects the luggage at the port and brings it to the room, is very convenient. As a solo traveler, I am just as welcome here as couples or young families. Everything is sparkling clean, the beds are great and the fresh breakfast (delivered to the room) is simply sensational. A wonderful place with warm hosts to recharge your batteries for anyone who is ready for the island and loves peace and quiet.

We were in Baltrum with our children for a week. It was a great vacation. The apartment was tip top. The beds are great. The breakfast was terrific. Ms. Hinrichs was always very helpful and friendly. Because the spa administration couldn't manage it, Ms. Hinrichs also got us tickets for an event. Thanks for the nice week. We'll be back.

We were in the oasis 3 years ago and it was a real horror trip in terms of our host. I have never had such a disturbing experience with a hostess in my life. Ms. Hinrichs simply behaved disturbed: extremely dismissive, our requests, e.g. making additional beds, were done reluctantly and without even acknowledging us. Yelling at guests seems to be completely normal in the oasis. Never again! Baltrum is so beautiful...

NO THANKS!So, that's really unbelievable. I've never experienced anything like that.We made a request 10 days before our planned arrival (weekend) via inseldirekt.de - and after inquiring a day later (9 days before arrival) we received an email saying "it's free". This is non-binding and not yet a booking.We then asked for a booking confirmation so that we could fairly cancel other requests (the islands are almost fully booked) - NOTHING.So in the evening we called the number given on the internet - 8 days before arrival - the "responsible" woman was not there, but she was given a note that we should have already received a confirmation. Otherwise you should call again next day. Called again the next afternoon (7 days before arrival) - not there again. 2 hours later REACHED!!!Then out of the blue she scolds me, saying that it's telephone terror and that she doesn't spend all the time at the computer, etc. - including personal insults. We should probably look for something else.Again: I just followed the "instructions" of the gentleman on the phone... only to immediately be hit on. The lady then simply hung up!An absolute disgrace - also towards her colleagues in the hotel/holiday apartment sector, who have outstanding inquiries for days because Ms. Hinrichs is unable to respond within 3 days.Unbelievable!

Spent 8 very nice days in the oasis (holiday apartment Borkum).Very, very nice and friendly hosts!!.Well recovered, we are (unfortunately) heading back home today.We'd love to come back.Thank you Hinrichs family.
