We were there from March 23rd. until April 2nd, 2024 for your vacation at the Christerhof and can recommend it without reservation. The holiday apartment was very large, equipped with all the essentials and had a breathtaking view of the mountains. The farm itself is somewhat remote, so arriving by car is definitely recommended. However, by car you can quickly reach the nearby town of Hundham as well as the Tegernsee or Schliersee. Chickens run around freely on the farm. Some of the cows are in the stable, some are on the alpine pasture. The two farm cats occasionally come by to get some petting. Everything you would expect on a farm is there. The mobile network isn't very reliable, but the farm offers guest Wi-Fi so you're not completely cut off from the outside world. The family is extremely open, friendly and accommodating, regardless of whether you want to exchange ideas about animals, excursion destinations or culture. The only thing we could complain about is that the rooster didn't crow in the morning :DDeserved five stars

We stayed here for a week with our son and granddaughter. It was a beautiful vacation. The farm is like something out of a picture book. Everything is very well maintained and child-friendly. The innkeepers are very uncomplicated, helpful, communicative, friendly. The Schwalbennest holiday apartment is spacious and well-equipped. Everything is very clean and practically furnished. The bathroom is brand new. We really liked it and we will definitely recommend the apartment and would be happy to come back! Many thanks to the lovely hosts

We spent wonderful days at the Christerhof! The holiday apartment was well maintained and well equipped, large, clean, bright and the Lidschreiber family was very accommodating! We enjoyed the products from the farm and the bread roll service. Idyllic tranquility with meadows and fantastic mountain scenery at the location, various excursion destinations in the area. Everything was perfect for us 👍

Everything was great. Just a bit lonely, so you almost always had to get in the car to reach a destination. Was less for us old people.The innkeepers are friendly and always willing to listen. The stable is clean and bright.In the “Kuckucksnest” holiday apartment, nothing was missing in terms of comfort and amenities.Thank you, it was nice with you.Regina and Bernd Fischer.

Top location. Top landlord. Top bread roll and egg service. A good place to relax. Gladly again. We are already looking forward to our next holiday at the Christerhof. Quiet location, bread service, animals on the farm, play area for the children. The overall picture was marred by the fact that my mother and my brother (who could no longer be accommodated at the Christerhof and therefore lived in a nearby guesthouse) were not welcome in the holiday apartment (Schwalbennest - 4P) on the evening of a long day of excursions. Reasons: Strangers are not welcome in the house due to bad experiences, and it also increases the additional costs. Explaining our situation (not seeing family for a long time, having dinner with a baby was difficult,...) didn't help.Otherwise recommended.
