We had a very nice stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. It is very (!!) clean and well maintained. Everything was done to ensure that we and our one-year-old daughter felt comfortable. They even cooked vegetarian alternatives for me and our daughter's favorite meal. Very family friendly and a place to feel good.

Closed Saturday lunchtime at 1 p.m. Lunch break until 3 p.m. It's a shame that you walk here and find yourself in front of locked gates. Sad...

Five stars across the board, which clearly shows how satisfied we were with our stay at Zum Breitenberg, a hotel with an exceptional location. You are somewhat isolated, so you are almost obliged to eat on site in the evening, but that is an advantage, because we had an excellent meal for five days. Although the classic-modern dining room is pleasant to stay in, the terrace with its beautiful panorama has an extra asset. Most guests go to bed early and the bar closes accordingly, but you can feel free to dine after the staff has already gone to bed. Our room was comfortable and spacious with more than enough storage space to stay for a while. The hotel is located at a crossroads of hiking and cycling paths, but it is quite uphill and downhill and your bike must be gravel-proof. On hot days, the outdoor swimming pool in Bad-Peterstahl (included in the price) offers cooling. Finally, we would like to compliment the lady of the house for the friendly and personal welcome.

Very secluded hotel with a great view. Ideal for hikers, as many trails start directly in front of the hotel or pass by the hotel.Family run and only open to hotel guests.

We arrived on Saturday 27/06/2024 and will stay in this fantastic hotel for 2 weeks. It is very quietly located and we would like to give it a 10 out of 10. Very large holiday home in the hotel with very friendly staff and a super tasty kitchen. You can take various walks from the hotel and the many deer provide an extra asset. Dream destination for someone who loves peace and quiet and enjoys walking!!

The hotel is really perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, there is almost no through traffic.The food was very tasty and the service from the boss was attentive and very friendly.We hiked extensively every day and were always able to start from the hotel.Really great all around, we will definitely come back.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place! We stayed here over the weekend for hiking in a double room with a balcony and felt completely comfortable. There is a lot of love for the details in the hotel and the family that runs it is very accommodating and very, very friendly. Everything is clean and tip-top. We were given a nice table by the window with our names on it. The breakfast was very tasty, there was a good selection, there was something for everyone, but not too much or too little. If you want eggs for breakfast, you can have them freshly prepared upon request. The dinner was also excellent! Price performance is right. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back and can only recommend this house.

We celebrated our birthdays in the alpine hut (part of the house). It was just great. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and match the Black Forest. The food was very good and the service was very attentive and personal. Price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. We can only recommend this house.
