Very accommodating hotel operators, at 11:30 p.m. dessert was served in front of the hotel, great party room and playroom with all kinds of toys for the little ones and also for dogs. Wonderful views from every room. Delicious breakfast. Fridge in the lobby always filled. Simply cozy and friendly!

Gute Erfahrung :)Schönes HotelThere is a very friendly owner. It takes 5 minutes by car from the train station. It was perfect for hiking around the area while resting in a comfortable hotel :) Recommended for those who want to enjoy some quiet time.

Very nice hotel with a nice location. Very nice staff, great food, nice, large and clean rooms. It is a great hotel, especially for hikers because of the beautiful hiking routes. I can only recommend it to others.

Very good hotel. Friendly owner and hotel staff. They create a wonderful atmosphere and comfort. A very good cook, cooks delicious food. The staff speak Russian very well. The rooms are large, bright, with a beautiful view. Very good sauna. We really liked everything. We'll be happy to come again.

We had a very good time with my wife this weekend. Hotel is in a good location with beautiful nature. Rooms are very large, bright and clean with nice views. Owners and staff are very friendly. Chef makes great dishes. I would be very happy to recommend it.

A very cozy place for a family holiday, everything is at an excellent level. The rooms are clean and comfortable. European cuisine, prepared with love ❤️ Very beautiful nature around, and most importantly wonderful staff👍I recommend it, I will definitely come again 🤗

The Hotel Schauinsland is highly recommended. The hotel was a complete joke.Only after booking did we find out that the pool was closed due to renovations. A massage is offered on the website, which wasn't available. The entrance area smelled very unpleasant. There were stains on the floor carpet in the room but otherwise it was pretty clean.The “wellness area” had a single infrared cabin and a sauna area.The food was probably just bought and warmed up.The only positive thing about the hotel was the great view of the valley.Well suited for hiking lovers but otherwise not recommended.!!

The pool is very old but we had it to ourselves and really enjoyed itTowels are available, only the loungers and seat cushions need to be replaced as they looked like mold

The hotel is very old... the service is okay, they make an effort...Each room has a balcony with a wonderful view. In the morning the sun that shines directly into your room wakes you up - that's vacation

Dear, the very large room with terrace overlooking the forest. Ideal for a quiet stay where dogs are welcome. The staff is available for any eventuality.

Rooms are sufficiently large and clean, but quite shabby (stained carpet, etc.). Hotel rather in need of renovation. Nice location with a great view. The staff seems overwhelmed and speaks little to no German. Breakfast poor (triangle cheese from Penny, rolls from the day before...), dinner only meat with potatoes (ready-made chicken cordon bleu from the frozen food store - not possible), it has nothing to do with half board. We probably won't come again

A relatively clean hotel but showing significant signs of dilapidation.Unwelcoming staff with no sense of hospitality.In the end we just pay for the view of the black forest.Be careful of the difference in treatment depending on nationality....
