If you are looking for complete peace and quiet, this is the right place for you! Rooms are totally clean and sufficient for short and hiking holidays. The pension manager is extremely friendly and helpful.

To enjoy a lot of peace and lots of nature, this guesthouse was the best choice. In addition, Ms. Meckel made us happy with a very tasty breakfast and dinner. A little chat in the evening was also very nice. The rooms are cozy and very clean. 👍👍👍

I was able to spend a few days with the Meckel family in Sachsengrund. If you are looking for peace and quiet, away from the loud and stressful everyday life in beautiful nature, this is the right place for you. Particularly worth mentioning is the peace and quiet, almost no traffic. The rooms are clean and very well furnished, you immediately feel like you have arrived. There is also a drinks fridge and hot drinks for guests. But you should also keep in mind that the nearest shop is a few kilometers away - there is a bus connection. The hosts, the Meckel family, are there with heart and love; despite their everyday routine, they always have time for a little chat. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and varied. You can stay in the cozy dining room for a long time - thanks to the pleasant atmosphere. I can warmly recommend the guesthouse.Thank you Meckel family for the good time with you.

The guesthouse is very quiet and idyllic. The food is very good, the rooms are large, nicely furnished and always clean.Overall there is very good service. The innkeepers Meckel are hospitable and helpful.We really enjoyed it, we went on long hikes and were always happy to come back “home” in the evening.

Beautiful inn with guesthouse surrounded by forest. Great opportunities for hiking, cycling and skiing in winter away from mass tourism. Good home cooking. Simple but nice rooms with TV, bathroom. Optionally with or without a balcony.

Very nice accommodation in Sachsengrund. Food gets 4*, breakfast and rooms are very good! But you also have to feel welcome, which we didn't manage to do with the boss. A person who takes some getting used to...
