As a family we spent one night in the guesthouse, had breakfast the next day and later had lunch in the restaurant. Our room was a good size, bright and very clean! The furnishings are down-to-earth and simple, but everything we needed was there. The breakfast was rich and good, there were lots of toys for our son, which he was also allowed to take to the table.Lunch tasted very good and we didn't have to wait long for it.The friendliness, willingness to help, the accommodating nature and the solution to minor problems or the fulfillment of “extra requests” are particularly noteworthy! If you don't value luxury, but are looking for very clean accommodation with down-to-earth food - and in very attractive, beautiful surroundings, the Bergschlösschen is the perfect place for you!!We will definitely come back, but then for longer and perhaps in the holiday apartment.

It's a shame, I was looking forward to the restaurant because it was highly recommended to me by a friend. We would like to have a coffee and a piece of cake at half past one, but we should wait until the "lunch business is over and do another round".I was terribly embarrassed in front of my companion.

Pumpkin soup gray, salty, with spray cream... Pasta more like green porridge, overcooked, salty, as well as the "Mediterranean" vegetables. Side salad like GDR. Chicken schnitzel is also too salty for all the guests at the table, roulades too... Absolutely not recommended. The only bright spot: service was super nice and accommodating.

This review only refers to the restaurant, not the guesthouse. Had lunch here on a hike from Schöneck. Cozy atmosphere, nicely decorated, very friendly service. The dishes are typical of the region, well prepared and largely homemade or regionally produced. Not warmed up convenience food, but very good home cooking, “and you can taste it”. Excellent schnitzel (freshly breaded), very good potato pancakes (Bambes), onion soup with a good base stock, etc. Definitely recommended!

Were only there to eat. Therefore we cannot rate the overnight stay.Rather smaller portions.Good eaters probably don't get full.If my wife is still hungry afterwards, that means something! We even ordered an extra salad (€5.50). It was delicious!Main course Spätzel pan (€14.40) with almost black mushrooms (simply heated too often) and 8 cubes of turkey in it.It was more like good housewife cooking.

We were just eating so didn't stay overnight. The service was very polite but it was friendly. The meal took a bit long - almost an hour - for the few guests (9 people in total) with a neighboring table. We had schnitzel, turkey and coachman steak. The prices were 13 to 14.50, so in the green range. We enjoyed it so far, but you shouldn't expect normal dishes. The coachman steak was more of a senior portion. The other dishes weren't exactly generous either. We then knew why it was so relatively inexpensive. Otherwise a nice restaurant.

Very good food, freshly prepared, so there was a little waiting time and the price was acceptable.👍
