We were hiking between Ith and Hills. We ended up in the Felsenkeller in the evening with a good appetite. Wow, what a hit. Food top and seasonally adjusted. Vegetarians will also definitely find something for themselves on the small but fine menu. I had Seitan with fried potatoes and mushrooms, very tasty. The service was courteous and customer-oriented, and we also really liked the ambience of the Felsenkeller. We will certainly come back.

Stylish atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service.The food is extremely tasty, lovingly prepared and if you're still hungry, you can get seconds. There is also a selection of great vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu.

Delicious, delicious, and delicious... A delight.... Idyllic and if I haven't mentioned it yet, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and responded to our wishes, something that doesn't happen that often anymore.There is also a playhouse for the little ones, my five year old daughter was able to pass the time until the food came... 🥰🤩 Thank you

I spontaneously visited with my girlfriend and we immediately got a free table. We were quickly presented with various menus with a wide variety of dishes.The staff are professionals and the food is very delicious.Priced in a higher category, but worth it. Overall a pleasant experience!

Leftovers with Olaf and AnnalenaWe went to a communion celebration in the Felsenkeller.The event organizer chose this location because it came highly recommended.The previous Google recessions also made you want more.The restaurant is beautifully located and the adjoining building as an event hall makes an excellent impression.Unfortunately, that was it.The service staff were not up to their task.At least one of the four ladies knew that she was no luminary in the field, the others acted as if they were the waitresses per se.Patsy comments and instructions were omnipresent.To the subtle hint (after two hours) that I would like something to eat, the answer came: “Yes, me too.”The cappuccino, which was not ordered but was delivered, was acknowledged with the comment: “Then I’ll just drink it myself.”The children were scolded if they were inattentive when asking for drinks.When I added the side dishes, the boiling water dripped onto my shirt and pants.Arrogance and incompetence, Olaf meets Annalena.The food was substandard.The asparagus is poorly peeled and overcooked, so it's woody and mushy at the same time, that's something you have to deal with first.The potatoes, for pig fattening and the Bundeswehr, are no longer the newest and are probably leftovers from the parallel event that took place earlier.The schnitzels are either fried twice or simply forgotten in the pan and the salmon is dry.Only the hollandaise sauce and the melted butter were ok.The dessert was different from what was ordered and the numbers were miscalculated.The whole thing at an unbeatable price of, as far as I am informed, €72 + drinks + seatingThe whole thing screams for compensation. Instead of an invoice, an apology and a waiver of claims are indicated.
