I spent 14 wonderful days of vacation at the Berghaus Weber in July/August 2021 despite “Corona” and mixed weather.Nice hosts, nice room, good breakfast and delicious, attractively prepared dinner.Pleasant communication before booking.Since looking after and caring for guests takes a lot of time, the office cannot be staffed all the time.You have to understand that emails can usually only be answered in the evening.There were many pleasant regular guests in the house. All guests vaccinated.The “Allgäu-Walser Card” was available for the stay. (Not to be confused with the “Bad Hindelang PLUS card”.) In many places you could park for free instead of paying for it.(You have to read the instructions on the parking machine carefully. I've seen inattentive people paying because they didn't read the instructions and therefore couldn't get by.)Discount of €0.50 on mountain railways, + other small discounts.The house is quietly located away from the town, with enough distance from the street so that the few cars driving past are not a problem. Sufficient parking spaces available.The cows from the surrounding farms were all in the pasture; I didn't see any in the stable anywhere. I stocked up on lots of hay milk cheese. Yummy !At the end of the street is the “Haus Edelweiss” with its free-roaming chickens, whose eggs you can buy from the refrigerator at the house, or egg noodles with 25% eggs!!The color of the yolk made it clear that no coloring food was being used to help. Turkeys were waiting a little further away on St. Martin ;-).There is no need to mention that there are great views and opportunities for hiking or excursions to Austrian enclaves (e.g. Kleinwalsertal) in the Allgäu.If my health allows it, I would like to come back in 2022.

Extremely friendly correspondence - better never ask there! You write down in a friendly manner and are told “too late” without any salutation or anything else. There are much friendlier Allgäu residents.
