There it stands, silent, made of stone in Kuchelmiß, it is certainly a beautiful tower! It has been looking over the fog valley for a long time and has had its day as a way to store water. You think Rapunzel is about to perk up and let her hair down right away. Far from it, it will be worth living in this beautiful tower for everyone. We were definitely thrilled to have done it!!!

Truly an extraordinarily exceptional place to stay. We received it as a gift for our wedding. The furnishings are of very high quality, even if you can see in small corners that the renovation was 10 years ago... The tower is located a little away from the town and is therefore very quiet. In Kuchelmiß you can get the essentials for shopping and you can go for a nice walk in the area. The price for the overnight stay is quite high but the unique opportunity to spend the night makes it worth it.

A beautiful fairytale tower with very high quality furnishings. Beautiful for a romantic time. Nestled in nature, the tower's location offers many opportunities for excursions to the Nebel nature reserve next door. In addition to the grill and bicycles, there is a well-equipped kitchen and a living room that also has a fireplace. The bathroom is very well equipped.All in all, a wonderful fairytale tower and can only be recommended.

Thanks to a short report in @DIEZEIT (DIE ZEIT No. 1/2021, December 30, 2020), we became aware of the tower and immediately booked the last available weekend before summer. The pandemic almost prevented the trip because the landlord is currently not allowed to accommodate private travelers. In this case 'fortunately' there had been business requirements for some time that could be combined and thus made the trip possible.All expectations were far exceeded: the bad weather forecast should have justified spending most of the time in the tower. Instead, it was unavoidable to explore as large parts of the NSG Nebel (between Krakower See near Serrahn and Güstrow-Klueß) as possible. The diverse flora and fauna is a dream, especially now in spring. Just like the tower; Even from the outside it is an imposing appearance that blends wonderfully into the landscape.Inside, it quickly becomes clear that a loving, both creatively and technically highly sophisticated interior design (i.e. interior fittings) offers the ambience for a perfect stay: well-thought-out functional structure of the four levels: kitchen/lounge right at the top with the best views , including sleeping and even underneath the bathroom. Each area (and especially the oak staircase that connects everything) has the highest level of functionality, quality, comfort and style in every detail.
