I spent a night at Vietgest Castle. The communication with Ms. Hager was very friendly and the reception was very warm and open. The room was practically furnished. From the room I had a beautiful view of the idyllic landscape.

This castle hotel in Lalendorf is set back on the B104 just before Güstrow in Lalendorf. You should be careful not to sleep facing the street if you want to sleep with the window open. …

A castle with a classic appearance, with a dazzling white exterior, stands proud and self-confident, visible from afar in a (still) overgrown, lush green park. Inside, the equally classic room layout with a garden hall on the ground floor and a fantastic winter garden. Then on the upper floor is the ballroom. White like the building. Generous in size across the entire width of the building. In the middle of the room, to the left and right, there are two mighty, white-tiled cannon stoves that take up the full height of the room. Glittering glass chandeliers give the ballroom the ceremonial finishing touch that qualifies it for truly royal debauchery. And then the rooms that wait for the guests. Somehow all the same and yet all different in this old building that was not built as a hotel. All lovingly and stylishly furnished, but boasting highly idiosyncratic floor plans. Each one exudes an elegant, warm homeliness. It is a castle that is ruled in the best possible way by a charming, urbane and multilingual lady. A castle that is so extremely feminine inside that “you” can’t escape it as a guest at any time. Without the enthusiasm and daring that this “old caste” naturally demands from the castle mistress and owner, this Mecklenburg manor would simply be an empty phrase. Brought back to life, like all the old Mecklenburg mansions that had to endure decades of contempt and contempt, but it is just a money-consuming phrase, aimed solely at maximizing profits. The “box” has to make money. He actually always had to. Well, today, as an “event location” and hotel. We wish this castle and its enchanting lady that many, many people will discover this proud and yet modest house to celebrate, hold meetings, go on vacation or dream of old times in the truest sense of the word.

Castle renovated with a lot of perseverance and love. We stayed there overnight for a concert in the very impressive balcony hall and had a great breakfast in the winter garden with a view of the park and lake. We'll be back!

During our first visit to Vietgest Castle last year, I immediately fell in love with this beautiful baroque castle that was so lovingly modernized and furnished by the lady of the castle. For me the perfect mix of old but also modern. You can see the passion in every detail in the castle. We actually visited quite a few locations for our wedding, but this was the first time that we had a real feeling of exhilaration that we were in exactly the right place. We could immediately imagine what our wedding would look like here and from that day on, no other location was an option for us. Nine months later the time had come and our big day was just around the corner. The lady of the castle, Ms. Hager, had already been there to help us with advice and support over the previous months, whether it was recommendations for service providers, detailed planning regarding the daily routine or special requests on our part. Communication was always super quick and uncomplicated, so we organized everything for our wedding day in advance without any stress. Our wedding at Vietgest Castle was simply perfect, everything went exactly as we had imagined, every detail was perfect and we had by far the best weekend of our lives. The great thing about the castle was that all of our guests could spend the night there, we had the whole castle to ourselves including the ballroom, the library, the bar, the winter garden and the large terrace and park and were able to arrive the day before and take everything in Prepare for rest and have breakfast together the day after the wedding. Our guests were also very enthusiastic and completely satisfied. We have Ms. Hager and her great team to thank for the fact that we were actually able to experience our dream wedding here! Many thanks to each and every one of you, you made our wedding perfect and unforgettable, with a lot of heart and willingness to help, we all felt very at home with you in the castle. In retrospect, we wouldn't do anything differently and would get married here again at any time! 5 stars are not nearly enough for what you made possible for us this weekend: we had by far the best day of our lives and will never forget our wedding at Vietgest Castle. Thank you for everything! ❤️ A heartfelt recommendation for all future brides and grooms!

After our engagement last year, my wife and I started looking for a suitable wedding location. We also looked at Vietgest Castle and immediately fell in love. In contrast to other castles, where you usually only celebrate in one room or even in an outbuilding, here the entire castle is at your disposal. There is a large terrace with an adjacent park and a beautiful avenue with a view of the countryside, which we were able to use for the civil wedding thanks to the good weather (the castle is a branch of the Krakow registry office). We were able to drink coffee in a relaxed atmosphere on the terrace in the afternoon, and we had set up a Kubb field in the garden, which was great for getting to know our friends and families. In the evening we were able to move to the beautiful baroque hall with a large terrace at the top of the castle and enjoy the flair of the castle. Vietgest Castle offers endless possibilities to spend your day.A big plus point for us was the ability to accommodate all guests directly in the castle, meaning no one had to drive home and parents with children could celebrate with us for longer. The rooms were beautifully modernized. We arrived with our closest circle on Friday to enjoy this beautiful location and to make all the preparations for our big day.We planned our wedding ourselves and received great support from Ms. Hager. Regardless of whether it was a DJ or catering for dinner, we received several recommendations from Ms. Hager, which became the highlight of our wedding. We had a barbecue on the terrace for dinner, which was a hit with all our guests. She always had an open ear for any ideas and requests and supported us with the planning. Ms. Hager was also on site on the day of the wedding and took care of coordinating the service providers so that we could enjoy the most beautiful day of our lives undisturbed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Miriam, Karim, Ms. Kramper and the rest of the castle staff. You spent the whole weekend making sure that our wedding was an unforgettable experience for both us and our guests and we will definitely see each other again for one or two events at your castle!Best regards,Nico and Anna
