We spent a night in the camping barrel and enjoyed every moment. The barrels are adequately equipped, warmly furnished, very clean and heated. We arrived at the end of October and had no problem with cold or humidity. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was able to answer all of our questions and the communication in advance via email also went well, answers always came within a few hours. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and especially the large sanitary block in the middle of the campsite was impressively large. There are plenty of toilets and shower cubicles, so you don't have to wait long (especially during high season). The shower cubicles have several shelves and warm water flows. The camping barrel deal includes an extensive breakfast with a café and tea of your choice, warm rolls and a selection of spreads, which is served in front of the barrel door in the morning. The campsite also has a great sauna that can be used privately for €10 per person. Here too, nothing was left to be desired. The location of the place is beautiful, in the middle of the forest, so there are plenty of opportunities for nice walks. If you don't want to/can't cook, we personally recommend the Greek restaurant Trojan, which also delivers to the campsite. We ate excellent gyros and the prices were also very fair.A small disadvantage, however, is that there is unfortunately not particularly good public transport access on weekends. Remember to book the on-call bus to Bleckede early, etc. You are also welcome to ask again whether the booking has been registered, otherwise you will be stranded at the forest pool😅. I'm sure the campsite team will be happy to help with the organization here.

The sleeping barrels are great. The site regulations regarding the festival campers are not so well regulated. Should be more defined.

Beautiful, well-run campsite surrounded by forest. Very nice operators, small kiosk where you can order rolls for the next day.Washhouses very well maintained. Washhouse 2 in the middle of the square is also quite modern and has nice showers (can be used without coins). The other washhouses are a little older but very clean. There is a lot of nature in the area apart from the nearby heated outdoor swimming pool and a trolley route. However, a car or bicycle is helpful for shopping in the neighboring town (approx. 6 km). There is a bus stop nearby, but the buses only run every 2 hours and on weekends only if booked in advance.Electrical connections available near the site. Central fresh water collection points are available but not directly on site.We always feel very comfortable there because it is usually very quiet and not too crowded.

Very quiet, well-kept campsite. When I arrived I feared the worst. But was pleasantly surprised. The reception opened promptly at 3 p.m. Entry only individually. There was only one lady in reception and there was a very long queue at the door. The lady at the reception wasn't really friendly. Well, maybe it was all too much for her. Our place was very nice and quiet. Absolutely perfect for relaxing. Unfortunately the place doesn't offer much. But you can go for a walk or ride a bike. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. The kiosk is sufficient and very nice. The only thing I was missing was a small restaurant. All in all it was a relaxing stay.

We were there for the third time this week and this time we were so disappointed. In May we made an agreement with a receptionist to occupy a dog park with 2 caravans. Everything was fine, everything was agreed upon. Then we arrive and were super disappointed. Had to pay for 2 places even though we only used one. Then our questions were answered with an arrogance that was not okay. In the old washrooms you first had to check whether there was toilet paper, unfortunately there wasn't in every toilet. Then the showers weren't cleaned every day. There was the same hair from the day before. Toothpaste stains on the mirror etc.Very disappointing this time...

Beautiful campsite with lots of nature outside. It's very easy to endure here :)The sanitary facilities are clean and the water is warm.Positive for us, negative for others:You can, or rather have to, slow down digitally here, i.e. little WiFi, no cell phone network50/50 positive:The dog parks are really good, only equipped with small caravans or Moovers.Without Moover we would have had very serious problems with our 7m caravan on the sloping terrain, as reversing in due to the 4m fence entrance was really a problem 😁But everything worked out in the end 😁Definitely happy to come back

Arrived in the late season with a camper, the campsite was almost empty, but what a beautiful place. Completely in the green, with the nicest and cleanest sanitary facilities we have seen at a campsite in years. Friendly staff.
