As always, above average. Here the guest is still in the foreground, not the money. If you want to eat well and celebrate, go to Lühr in Zernien. Great gastro team like you can hardly find anymore.

We had lunch here and we really enjoyed everything. The location is good, everything has rustic charm, the garden at the back with seating is beautifully laid out and the food was delicious and inexpensive and the service was also great. Gladly again!

Very good friendly service. The meal (rump steak with fried potatoes) was perfectly prepared. For dessert there was delicious Mövenpick ice cream. The atmosphere is from the 70s and 80s, but very cozy, clean and not worn or damaged. All in all, it was a very satisfying and worthwhile visit

We celebrated my mother's birthday here! Right next to the bowling alley! Of course we were allowed to use it because it would have been difficult to stop the children from doing so!The food was very good and nicely presented! The waitress was super nice and joking too! There were about 20 of us and no one had to wait long for drinks or food! We will probably celebrate our next birthday there again because we were treated as if we were regular guests and deserved preferential treatment, even though it was our first time there. So 5 stars from me for friendliness, good food and cleanliness! And thank you again for the great hospitality!

We were there today with 7 people. For the first time we had to wait half an hour before we could place our orders. Our drinks came relatively quickly, but the food took so long that we had to order more drinks again. The food arrived over an hour after ordering. I ordered cheese spaetzle with salad. The food didn't taste like anything and was hardly seasoned. In the end we were there for almost 2.5 hours. In my opinion, I can't recommend anything else.

Complete organizational disaster! We went to the Christmas buffet today. You didn't even come straight into the restaurant, but stood in a long line like in an amusement park and waited to get in. The food was then paid for directly at the front (€30/person), before you even got to your table. Afterwards there was either orange juice or sparkling wine with liqueur at the bar. Actually a nice idea that put the waiting time before entry and the strange greeting into perspective. The tables in the stuffy hall were very narrow and it was of course very loud due to the large number of people - so comfortable conversations were impossible. Three quarters of an hour after the guests had entered, the buffet, which had not yet been completely filled, was finally "opened". By then the mood was already very tense. We waited for the first rush. However, since the queue didn't get anywhere near shorter even after another three quarters of an hour, we ventured to the buffet. 15 minutes later we had at least reached the plates - it's just a shame that there weren't enough for everyone. There was a similar sight at dinner. Some vessels were (and remained) empty for minutes. The meat on my plate was cold until the side dishes were finally refilled after over 10 minutes. A little over two hours after arriving, I actually managed to get a full portion of meat and side dishes. The quality of the food was really very good. The selection of meat and fish was very diverse. The selection of vegetables, however, left a lot to be desired with red cabbage, potatoes and creamed mushrooms. I remind you again of the €30 per person, just for the food. One should expect more. The wait was also very long for the drinks and the used dishes were cleared away very, very slowly, so we ended up bringing our plates to the counter ourselves. After the meal the drinks were billed. Here too, long waiting times for the bill. One could only feel sorry for the staff present. They did their best and tried to save what could still be saved. Whoever organized this appears to have acted solely out of greed for profit. Pack as many people as possible into the hall and take money from the guests at the beginning - this way you don't have to respond to complaints by cutting prices. We have actually been guests in this restaurant several times, but for me this is no longer an option. I will definitely not consider this place for larger events and definitely never again for Christmas!

Crowded hall, chaos and not festive! We had reserved a table for the buffet on Christmas Day. As soon as we arrived at the inn, many people were queuing before we could enter the ballroom. Cash was collected in advance, similar to in the theater. The hall was completely overcrowded and stuffy. For 45 minutes nobody knew what was going to happen next. When the buffet was half-heartedly “opened”, chaos broke out. Sometimes there were no plates, sometimes there was no food. If at some point you were given something to eat, which was usually not what you actually wanted to eat, at least it tasted good even though it was lukewarm. Some guests also left early during the buffet. Overall, after 30 minutes at the latest, the mood in the entire hall was tense.Even though there was such chaos, the drinks ended up being charged extra. Why was the food charged before then?! (30€ per person)Overall not recommended and a complete disappointment for a family dinner at Christmas.A pity!
