Shared balcony, other guests have access to your room via the balcony. The owner of this accommodation is suspicious and aggressive. Why rent accommodation if you don't know how to receive clients? So go and take lessons in hotel management, and return to your parents, so that they can redo your education.Rude, it is unacceptable to be poorly received when you are paying as a customer. The balcony is shared with the other rooms, the other occupants have access to your room via the balcony! No soap to wash your hands! Insects everywhere! No parking space! Bad crowd with Mariejuana smokers! Null. Monitors people by camera, if you want to use the swimming pool you have to pay extra.. if you want to use the grill the owner will ask you to pay extra, whatever you do you have to pay extra, in short. Customer squeezed out like a lemon, not recommended. Shared balcony, other guests have access to your room via the balcony.

Room allocation by telephone, however, from a “very nice representative”. Please place the amount of money on the table in the room. The room was also entered with a second key. Handover not possible in person. Because of this, people make phone calls afterwards about where the money is and suspect that they are cheating.3 parking spaces for 4 units. That said, the last person who came was unlucky and had to park further down. Narrow gravel alley. At first glance it was very clean, but at second glance it wasn't. A vacuum cleaner would be an advantage. Bathroom, however, was tip top. Mattresses very soft. The house is an old building with 4 units, very noisy and was fully occupied, including small children. Hardly to no sleep due to children screaming on the ground floor, bathroom fan, snoring from the next room and creaking trampling across the floorboardsAttic room.Wanted to stay 3 nights. Are after 2N. left because of fatigue.

The bad reviews are very unfair. But of course it always depends on your own requirements. The staff/landlady are nice and helpful. The room on the top floor was clean, with dishes and a private bathroom. Great for the price I paid. The only point of criticism (didn't concern me personally) is that the communal fridge on the floor below me is too small, but from a spatial perspective it's not possible to do anything else.Thank you for the lovely stay ☺️

We stayed here for one night for a celebration. The room was clean and well maintained. The price, 90 euros for one night for 3 people with an extra bed without breakfast, was not exactly cheap.

We had a wonderful week in the guesthouse. It is perfectly located for hiking trips on the edge of the Rennsteig. The rooster woke us up every morning, which we personally liked. We had the room where the bathroom is separate. That means we had to take a step across the hallway, past the neighbor's room. We never met anyone and were able to move around freely. We also didn't lock the bathroom at night because opening and locking it would have been annoying for everyone. And who should take anything from the bathroom? The room is nicely and brightly decorated. There is a small refrigerator, but it is really only very small. Nevertheless, we were given milk, sausage and cheese there. What you should definitely know is that there are no dishes or cutlery apart from 2 glasses. We informed ourselves briefly by phone beforehand and brought the bare essentials with us. Quite minimalistic but sufficient for us. There is a microwave and a kettle in the hallway. You don't have the opportunity to cook, but that's clear from the description. We also shared the balcony with the neighbors, but we never met anyone here either. However, you also have to say that the house is very, very noisy; you can hear the conversations in the next room. The young man who is responsible for preparing the rooms is very helpful and friendly. He gave us good tips about the area and shopping. All in all, the guesthouse is recommended for a week if you don't value luxury. You just have to live with it. But you're mostly in nature anyway and mostly just sleeping in your room. The keys were handed over by telephone and completely unproblematic. I don't have to meet the landlords in person, I just have to be well briefed and that was very good. If necessary, you can always reach someone by phone.

Never again!!!! I have never experienced anything so UNFRIENDLY. I would be ashamed if I acted like that towards my guests. It's better to go to a decent apartment with nice, decent landlords!!!

Hello hikers, we were very disappointed with this accommodation! Very small, floor absolutely disgusting and generally very worn out! Bathroom via a small hallway past other guests! Breakfast "very close" was then about 1.5 km walk on a country road without a footpath or cycle path! We paid 8 EUR for our small dog (2.5 kg), hotels charge 5 EUR, a guesthouse in Oberhof didn't charge anything extra! All in all, terrible, please look for something else!!!

Friendly family guesthouse, very good value for money. As so often, it was a nice short trip. Perfectly located on the Rennsteig for nature lovers. We would love to come back.
