We spent 2 nights in October in this very elaborately renovated half-timbered house. Our room was a real size, as was the bathroom. The breakfast room is very friendly and brightly decorated. However, we doubt whether all hotel guests would be able to find space at fully booked times. On the first day we had to wait because there was no more space.A big compliment to the hotelier. The coffee machine is available to every guest free of charge at any time! Available.An additional drinks machine is also available 24 hours a day. I would not forget to mention that the guest is offered an aperitif in the hotel foyer. Two different, regional types of liqueur were offered - free of charge!The breakfast itself caused us to deduct 1 point. It was missing one or two bonus ingredients.The hotel is in a quiet location and it is not far to get to the city center. A very good starting point for excursions.In our opinion, there are around 4 parking spaces behind the hotel, which is not too dramatic as there are enough parking spaces within walking distance. Paid, but also fee-free. The employees explained this matter well to usOverall, everything was very nice and I think you'll be happy to visit here again

A place to slow down, very warm service, great breakfast buffet, coffee and tea are available all day thanks to a café machine!I particularly like the location because it is a bit away from the historic old town, right in the middle of the rock towards the castle!

This beautiful hotel was built many years ago from an old half-timbered house. Lovingly furnished and names given to individual rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast plentiful and tasty.

A really very nice hotel in an old half-timbered house. The breakfast buffet is very sufficient and delicious. Many thanks also to the super friendly service, both at the reception and the breakfast service. When booking, however, certain guests should please inform themselves in more detail beforehand about the conditions in the hotel (stairs, elevator). You should really note that this hotel is an old half-timbered house. What we found really great when we were guests and will definitely be again.

Beautiful location, right under the hill where the Dom Church is located. The hotel is located in a beautiful half-timbered house. Great breakfast. I took the smallest room, which is indeed small but also perfect in terms of price-quality ratio. Staff are helpful and nice.

First of all: we felt really welcome here and really comfortable. The owner, Ms. Schinkel, is truly unbeatable when it comes to warmth and hospitality. Everything was just so great and warm-hearted that it's hard to put into words. In addition, beautiful rooms in an old half-timbered house that is a world heritage site, a great breakfast with everything you need and much more, free coffee, cappuccino etc all day, a welcome drink and and and. It was really just great. In addition, service that cannot be beaten with true hospitality. Parking space (chargeable, but cheap) directly at the house. The main landmark of Quedlinburg is practically on the doorstep and the city center with the Marktpkatz is only a few minutes away. In the foyer of the hotel there is a drinks machine with a great selection instead of a minibar (free water was available in the room) and the breakfast room can be used as a lounge all day long, including to eat your own food. Where else can you find something like this? It was really great and is absolutely recommended. If we come back to Quedlinburg, we will definitely come here again. Many thanks again to the whole team for the great time!!! And another star for the hospitality!!!

Small hotel below the collegiate church. Center easily accessible on foot. Sufficient breakfast. Even filter coffee in thermos flasks, which is unfortunately dying out these days, is offered in addition to a coffee machine. By the way, you can tap your favorite coffee there for free (!) during the day.The biggest disadvantage of the hotel for me: The walls are extremely noisy - noises from the neighbor can be heard as if they were in the same room.Shower/toilet a bit small.Attention: No elevator!

Unique in all things,Peace and quiet, the always nice and helpful staff, the great breakfast, coffee whenever you want, the location is perfect in the historic city. A stay at the Domschatzhotel is recommended at any time of the year; Here the week before Advent in the courtyards, opening of the Christmas market.Second visit in March. Wonderful as always. Everything perfect. The best service I know. In the evening after returning there was always a bedtime treat.Third visit to the Hotel Domschatz in August, unfortunately sick on arrival, fever, nothing worked. The ladies from the hotel are all very nice and caring. No walks, just inEZ possible. Departure; I'm already looking forward to my next stay at the end of November.

The hotel offers very courteous service and a very familiar atmosphere. Right from the start when we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing drink. A lot of emphasis is placed on making you feel completely comfortable. Requests and situations are responded to spontaneously and professionally and every effort is made to do justice to the guest. However, I find the breakfast room too narrow and depressing, as no privacy is possible in the breakfast situation. The tables are too close together, but this is certainly the case due to the structural requirements of the house. The breakfast buffet is short, but sufficient as far as possible. Anyone who is not used to this will certainly be irritated because it is actually unpleasant to sit in close proximity to strangers, like on a train or plane. Otherwise, the Domschatz is a very cute and pretty hotel with nice themed rooms.

A really nice hotel with a nice atmosphere. Romantic location with half-timbered houses and cobbled streets. Great staff with a twinkle in their eye and always helpful. It is nice and clean. Nice bathroom. The bed is really comfortable. Which is rare. There is a wonderful morning buffet. Free coffee, cocoa etc. all day. Outside at the entrance are a few small tables and chairs. We were greeted very nicely, when we received the room keys, we also received a folder that was prepared like a small tour guide, with a nice welcome message and various restaurants nearby.You immediately felt welcome here.
