The guesthouse is very nice, a great mix of "old" and new. Everywhere you can see beautiful pictures/photos of the guesthouse and the beautiful surroundings.The landlady is extremely accommodating, welcoming, warm and caring, you feel at home almost immediately.The breakfast is great, with orange juice, rolls, sausage/cheese platter, boiled egg... Almost everything your heart desires.The WiFi is fast, but unfortunately does not reach the top floor.Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are very large and pleasant.The room was very clean and beautifully furnished with lovingly selected things.We'll definitely be back!

The perfect place to spend the night after a long day of hiking on the Rennsteig!The guesthouse is located right on the path and there is also a small supermarket not far away, so nothing stands in the way of relaxing.The house and the furnishings themselves are a bit old, but they are sparkling clean and the beds are comfortable! Our room was also wonderfully bright thanks to large windows and we felt extremely comfortable.I would also like to highlight the hospitality with which we were received! Due to badly bruised feet, luggage that was far too heavy and an extremely strenuous day before, we had only planned a very short route on the day of our arrival and assumed that we would have to wait a little longer before checking in, but that was far from the case! In fact, we were given the opportunity to check in early and were immediately asked whether we would be more happy with tea or coffee for breakfast and since our opinions differed, we were given a pot of coffee and a pot of tea and we were even allowed to have some snacks for the rest Pack away.Breakfast took place in the beautiful, very bright “winter garden” and in addition to the delicious food, we were also lucky enough to be able to have a good chat with another Rennsteig traveler.All in all, a really great overnight stay where we felt warmly welcomed and in good hands and which I would repeat at any time!

We were on the Rennsteig and stayed overnight here. It was very cozy, clean rooms, there was a rich and delicious breakfast and a lovely innkeeper. I can recommend the guesthouse with a clear conscience.

The guesthouse is located right on the Rennsteig, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good and plentiful. The landlady is a very friendly, attentive and lovely woman.

I was able to stay here in the evening after my day's journey, right on the Rennsteig. No need to book in advance, simply ask and be welcomed. A very cozy guesthouse, familiar and absolutely lovely landlord. Thank you for the delicious breakfast!

The only point of criticism for me is that the rooms are no longer completely up to date. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely cleanliness of the entire house and the friendliness of the host couple. The breakfast was very rich and lovingly prepared. The very low price for overnight accommodation also has a positive impact.

A small privately run guesthouse with just a few rooms and a good breakfast.Even if it was only for 1 night, the landlady is very friendly and takes care of her guests.Thank you, we'll be happy to come back if possible.
