Recession for the beer garden: Simple beer garden, but great view. Drinks on tap aren't exactly cheap. It was supposed to be open until 5 p.m. on Saturday and although there were still quite a few guests there, almost all the blinds were lowered at 4 p.m. as a precaution. When we wanted to ask at 4:50 p.m. whether we could get another drink, the last blind was closed right in front of us... okay, if you don't want to, you can. Next time we'll hike straight to the Wild Blacksmith. Nothing like that happens there.

Communication with the landlord didn't go well. In the end, double occupancy was only noticed 3 days before booking, so a planned trip to Porta Westfalica was canceled by the landlord. Tip: always insist on a written booking confirmation, even if emails are often not responded to for a long time.

We did not stay at this hotel. But the view from the summer terrace is excellent. I would recommend coming here for a walking tour. We were there in the fall, everything was closed. The building itself would like to be renovated a little.

After numerous attempts to reach the landlord to hand over the keys, the accommodation was canceled 3 days before arrival due to alleged problems with fire safety regulations with the municipality. To date (after 1.5 months) I have not yet received the full money refund.

Hands off!!! A real impudence, for weeks, if not months, there has been no response from Mr. G., neither to telephone calls, nor by email, nor by registered mail (it came back!!!)I don't know what's going on there, but it definitely doesn't work like that, I just want to warn you!!In any case, we are completely "served" and I will never consider inquiring about this guest house again, let alone booking it and certainly not making any recommendations!!If you are planning to book, please be careful, BEWARE!!!I'm curious to see if we can get our deposit back!

If you want to scare away potential customers, do it like this!After many unsuccessful attempts to contact the landlord, we finally received the desired reservation confirmation on the phone. A few months before the travel date. But apparently another group was more important, so we had to cancel again at very short notice due to double occupancy.I was in the house several years ago and would have liked to go there again. But after the promotion I will not try to book this house again. Unless there is another landlord at some point.Too bad.

Only the kiosk was open and the guesthouse's sanitary facilities. It's a great place with a great view to the south. The live music from the band “Green sheep” did the rest to round off the ambience.
